"Clank, clank, clank, clank..." Today, the railroad crossing bar goes down again, stopping someone on their way somewhere. The various stories of youth, eros, art, first love, etc that occur during the time spent waiting at a railroad crossing... All railroad crossings, all the time. Bringing you a variety of short stories about railroad crossings!
Let me start by saying this: This is the best three minutes series this season. I know that isn't saying much with the pervy Tachibanakan Triangle and the disastorous Alice or Alice, but I still think it is a accomplishment. Be ready for waiting until the train passes by, this is my review of Fumikiri Jikan.
It is a three minutes series with every episode a different story. The only thing that these stories have to do with eachother is that they all take place at the same location.
Not bad. Really not
bad. Unlike Tachibanakan Triangle or Alice Or Alice, you can see the effort they put into it. There are even some shots that are impressive, even if you compare it to the ''normal'' shows this season.
This series doesn't have any impressive music besides the OP. In other news, the sky is blue, the united states president has done something stupid and your favorite anime still has no sequel announced.
Every story has different characters, but they still are all great, some even more remarkable then anime like 3D Kanojo Real Girl or Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi.
I think everybody already knows that a common practise in anime is that they take one joke and continuously use it again and again as if they are Bethesda with Skyrim. This is one of the few instances that this practise actually works, because eveyr episode has a different joke and it is hard to make a joke boring with just three minutes. So yeah, the comedy in this anime is really great.
I would recommend it. It wil only take you about.. I don't know, half a hour to complete this. If you don't have enough time to check it out, then I don't know how you then have time to read my review.
I don't think It's bad. It's not great, But I found It fun.
The thing that really bugs me the most, Is that the first episode has two awesome characters and I wish the entire show was just about those two girls. No other episode has even come close to being funny or interesting as the first episode.
I hope that the two girls from the first episode get their own anime. I'd love to watch a show about two girls like that dating each other.
The other set of characters have been kind of blah or boring. Mostly leaving the female characters to be interesting while
the guys not so much.
Art Is surprisingly good. The first two girls have a design that I really like. This Is probably where the budget went.
Overall, It's a fun 2-minute show to watch when you have the time.
