The "Colors" are three cute little girls who hang out together and protect the peace of their city. They have lots of fun together, doing stuff like playing games, solving puzzles, and going to the zoo. This anime follows their largely happy daily life.

"Grownups are so busy. We can’t count on them."
"Grownups don’t have energy. Kids have energy!"

These lines are part of the cheerful opening theme of Mitsuboshi Colors and perfectly exemplify everything this anime is about. Forget about the troubles of your everyday life; it’s time to go outside, find your own adventure and have some fun!

What I love about Mitsuboshi Colors is that it perfectly embraces everything that childhood is about. Normally in CGDCT anime you either get to see some sort of glorified moeness or some rather absurdly chilled out atmosphere, but this is different. Not that those two concepts aren’t good mind you, but read more

Do you remember the time when you were a kid? Running around having fun, playing a game with your friends. Having a secret base to hang around after school. No? Well whatever, you might want to see it anyways.

Mitsuboshi Colors is an anime about three young girls (in Elementary School) who plays together all the time at the park. They are the "Colors" which they claim to protect the peace of the city. Every episode is filled with them doing something, be it trying to solve problems given to them by people around them (Like Sacchan's Mother) or just having fun playing hide and seek.

It's rare to find an anime that captivates you just from the voice acting. You could find an anime captivating because of the story, the art, the characters but for the first time since the original Kino no tabi, I was captivated from how great and refresh the voice acting was in this anime which is why I decided to write about it and the anime as a whole.

One of the best things about colors is how well-written the characters are,
you could feel the innocence of the children and the maturity of the adults while still keeping the anime atmosphere lively and fun, this read more

Have you ever wondered how your childhood would be like if you were like hyper-active children, going around and creating nonsense antics like doing fake cases of evil and just annoying that figure of evil (whom you perceive IS) and making the world around you a better place through endless adventures? Then this show is for you: another Winter 2018 SoL series, and one of the better ones too that I enjoy tremendously and had good laughs out of it.

Mitsuboshi Colors, based off the manga series of the same name, tells the story (WHAT story? It's a SoL!) of 3 "cute girls doing cute things": read more
