Central Park Media Corp. filed for Chapter 7 and went bankrupt on April 27th. The amount of debt is $1.2 million. Central Park Media was established by John O'Donnell in 1990 and it's one of the oldest Japanese anime distributors in US. The company sold "Mobile Police Patlabor", "Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight", "Revolutionary Girl Utena" etc. and is one of the pioneers in "Yaoi" manga retail in US.

The business of Central Park Media declined in 2006 and it's been cutting down the scale of the production since then.
