Overall Rating: 7 Ajin add
Ajin's CGI was a refreshing look for anime. At first I thought it unnecessary, but as the series progresses I find that it was the icing on the cake. This seinen of course showcases lots of gore and agonizing situations, so I feel that with the CGI, the motion and expressions of the characters made them seem more life-like and less cutesy. I wouldn't... read more
Overall Rating: 8 Death Note add
Death note is a rare anime in that it's best moments are a tennis match between two characters and a scene where the main character eats a potato chip. I have never seen a amine that is so grounded in real life but still so over the top and out of this world. I don't know if it is possible to make another anime like Death note.... It also centers into the points that this does not mean trying to tiptoe around their differences or pretending that... read more

I'd say the voice acting was okay for 1989, but the english voices were... read more

Well, the main characters are the biggest similarity: both are quite nerdy therefore their love-life is rather troublesome. Both interpret the "nerdiness" differently though, so that's fortunate.
