Kara no Kyoukai 6: Oblivion Recording Original Soundtrack review

It's too good to be left without a (bad) review by yours truly here.

M01: It starts like fairytale, a lot of instrumental stuff plus the background voices of Wakana and Keiko.With the help of a low grand note of the violin, it goes to the piano-side of the track. Fairytale like, or fantasy-like; nothing like Kajiura latest stuff but it's good to hear a change on her style. Then it's all about the high violin notes... coming back again to the relaxing piano/synthetizer. Background voices...
M02+03: Piano-sided track with a high violin. Fantasy-like track. It cover Azaka's presentation, so it should be like that. Later, a flute comes in, along with the drums. At the end, all mixed in one single note, with a really good violin. Lastly, a terrific piano/flute.
M04: Gothic track. A really common style by Yuki. Short track too.
M05: This is the track where you can see style that Yuki is going to be using for the last fight, as always does in her soundtracks. Low piano notes, along with the gothic background.
M06+07: This style of piano is what really excites me when listening to it. A really tragic motion or a the simpliest drama can be resolved by these low and high notes. The violin is just terrific. It suddenly changes to the first track in this ost, to the piano-sided part especifically; once again the pro piano.
M08: Short track, it seems like somethings big is going to start. Drums, saxophone and no piano, basically.
M09: Gothic once again. Short once again.
M11: Sad piano. Or maybe a thoughtful piano. Someone is thinking about a dear one. Low notes.
M12: The new style once again. This time with a low note violin accompanied with Yuki's high piano. And then the high violin. I love it. I'm desperately trying to find a cure to stop listening to it, but it's way too good. Then the dramatic part starts with the violin even going higher, but even more relaxing. The gothic parts seems to be coming... the style changes and now it's all about a confrontation of thoughts, of people... maybe. It ends with a deep sound.
M13: 1 minute track with Wakana and Keiko as background voices, using the same style of the first track. Fantasy-like, as this movie is.
M14: Seems like the circus is about to start. It is known of Kajiura that she mixes whatever her piano can do, along with her excellent group of musicians. Happy track, with a dead flute and a trombone being really abused.
M15+16+17: This song has been played already 75 times since I downloaded it 5 days ago. It starts much more different than the other ones, except the two advisors of this battle track. The low violin breaks in and goes along with the synthetizer. A distant voice breaks into both with the help of a dying stroke. The violin grows stronger, the electric guitar joins in..! This is why fighting scenes are made for Kajiura musicians. Electronic sound joins also and start the fight with the highest violin note available. Piano, violin, synthetizer mixed in one single motion to give us Azaka's and Shiki's fight against "the God word" and the fairy master ojou-san. I still can't describe it with my own words. The sound is too perfect; even when an electric guitar is in along with excellent bass. The fabulous music stops and it's getting background voices, fairytale style. Wakana inconfundable voice gets in, edited, I think. Once again, a low violin breaks in. Shiki has already beaten up the "God word"... and Azaka's getting in trouble... but she won't turn back... A deeper electric guitar note... a blast stroke... high violin... And so it begins again, this time with background voices. The violin style is just too good, man; I can't ask for more. Azaka's now trying to walk on top of the church seats and it's getting her a real trouble. It doesn't matter, she's better than that. The fairy god has betrayed Mizuki Nana and now it's all in hands of Azaka. She encourages against the fairy goddess... and the mix is here is just amazing... the violin starts to dissapear... and it ends... with a deep sound. 10/10
M18: Piano track... a middle-low violin joins in... A sad track indeed. It's like those epilogue tracks... right after something has ended, like the climax of the movie has finished. Both high and low violins are now on air... and so it ends.
M19: Gothic track once again and a short one again. Something evil, it seems.
M20: It's Araya Souren comeback! Obviously, because of the deep sounds mixing with Yuki instruments. It is the last boss of Kara no Kyoukai. I just hope tracks like these (read, empty or without real motions) don't appear too much on the last soundtrack. The end of the movie.
EX01: Azaka's theme. An extra song for the epilogue of the movie. Extremely happy track.
EX02: The preview of what will be the last Kara no Kyoukai movie: Satsujin Kousatsu. It is sad and deep. It is a Yuki solo in my opinion. Her piano is superior. Last track also.

Anime and college: Does not compute

So, I was in college today, waiting for the anime club (or however it's called) to be ready so we (yeah, there are plenty of people in the club) can start doing the normal stuff that we're supossed to do. The club boss, Adrián, was doing some weird stuff with his girlfriend, in front of everyone. Like, he was telling her at her ear that we were way too many compared to last year's club. I didn't join the club last year, I joined this year, because I felt too uneasy being in first year and joining a club that would make more hours at university, which means boringness, unless if you aren't caught watching a hot girl passing out without looking at you; so he was worried about the low spaceroom and because the amplificator couldn't do it for the guys seated at the far spots. I was like "lol, let's go to another classroom, shall we?". Of course, I didn't say it. My friends aren't computer geeks like me, nor anime freaks so I joined the club by myself. It's pretty boring waiting 2 hours in college while your friends are datin with his girlfriend or in some paperwork for the next class. This happens from 12:00PM (noon) to 2:00PM. Basically, because no one has classes at these hours (Cultural Thursday, it's called) in all the college. And the anime club was there, waiting for me. I also wanted to see if some of my friends were lying as I always am (denying the fact that I love anime) and to find them there, but negative. They weren't there xDDD So, I think we were like 55 people, as Adrián counted, and everyone was pretty excited. I didn't want to sit so I stood up like 10 other people, partially because there were a lot of girls and I'm pretty bad at talking to them. I mean, I can ask them for anything, but entabling a conversation...that's my fucking down point. So, 45 people sit, 10 people stood up and the club boss was ready to talk in front of these (not)weeaboos. He started with a "Sup, I'm Adrián, for the new ones. I see many new faces around here, way too many compared as last year. So, I welcome you all to the best club of them all! (lol) I'll gladly accept you in this club, following the next rules" I, must say, was pretty scared about these rules. "First and above all, we're not anime freaks. We just enjoy the anime but not as a drug. We share the anime we have with each other so it becomes simplier to watch anime and to talk about it here, after it. Secondly, we don't encourage piracy. Meaning we don't like buying anime ripped off in Wilson, Polvos Azules or some other piracy place. Many of our members are from the software engineering career(mine) and, supossedly, they know what torrents are. For the ones who don't know, torrents are a way to share files over the internet. I think it's called port to port sharing with a client like uTorrent, bittorrent or the old Ares. Well, our policy about that is that you can bring it here, but if it's not licensed. Now, here we have a list of anime that is currently licensed in Perú, meaning South America at all. Animax and Cartoon Network are the official licensers, but they're slow because the mexican dubs are slower than them. Torrenting is fine as long as you don't seed in the UPC's domain, which I doubt you can, as I have tried long before. Yes, if you think we are being too strict, you're right, because we are. Thirdly, it's a matter of fact that we are used to have fun in every club meeting. (laughs) And lastly but not meaning less important... (...)". Well, yeah. Those were the words of Adrián at the beginning of the meeting. I must say, I was pretty impressed that many people in Perú found a meaning for the word 'Torrent' as I thought I was one of the few who knew how to use torrents or use p2p programs properly. After that, we began listening to some instant music (or calm music, the ambient was pretty tense because it was the first meeting in what goes of the year) and then Adrián began speaking again. "Well, these are our 2-3 rules here...we don't have problems if you aren't okay with them, just have a good time here and enjoy what we bring to you! So, welcome everyone! I'm glad we're like the double of last year's first reunion. I hope you guys keep coming in the following weeks! (I honestly thought that everyone would laugh at that comment. I was so wrong, everyone was like...pasted to the floor without a mouth to speak...guess they were waiting only for the free anime)...Without further things, here is our weekly anime dosis: Hellsing!. ...what? I thought that anime was liek fucking licensed here. I was wrong again. Well, next was as said: he turned on the proyector, inserted the DVD (wow, he had one. I thought it was on the HDD xD) and WHAM! A 1024x576 file was there: Hellsing, the Movie 3. I honestly did not want to watch. I don't like shounen at all, not even fightan anime. I almost left the room. Just because there were girls talking about anime next to me I was able to stay. I won't talk about Hellsing because I didn't watch it. I was talking (really) all the 2 hours to an asian girl (zOMG) and a blonde one about good anime and the typical characters that everyone loves and hates. Not leaving the room was such a good decision...haha, I enjoyed it so much that when the movie ended, everyone was like absorted by the movie, except me and (well, I don't think so) the other 2 girls next to me. inb4 pix or gtfo Yeah, I know, but I don't have a cellphone. I want an iPhone so I'm saving for an iPhone instead of a fucking cell. I also want to pass all my 7 classes this year...it will be though. Thanks for reading, will be back for more in 2 days.
