well, this is my late Birthday review about this film, THEY SHOULD make and 40 part serie´s of this se 1 & 2, and its one hell of a space trip here with rivers of blood on end and lots os flashy fights, And its my 2nd anime movie i´ve seen from ´84 overall!the thing i was mostly amazed about is the very early 3-d scene's at some points, and the '84 3-d spaceship snapshot really shows that japan back then was very ahead of its time, ok it looks damn cheap, i don't care, it was innovative for their concern! Animation looks right for its time so as the background scene's and the ship designs, handdrawn.
Its and very supernatural orientated story, as well for the chara. only a very few ppl here have no powers, unlike Locke and the other espers, for the music i was DAMN happy it was'nt remastered.
It was for me a lot more violent than excpected so its a keeper for sure and thats why i looking more to the older audience!
