Every now and then, an anime viewer can make a mistake. I have made mistakes before, I admit it. Watching School Days for example. This is yet another example of how poor recommendations can sorely throw someone off course.
This series is something someone might watch if they feel guilty watching hentai. This is getting close to that thin line between dignity and disgrace. It tries very hard to find the morality in a master-slave relationship. In fact, it might even be considered admirable. However, I found it a harrowing experience.
Throughout watching this, I was continuously worried about the state of mind of the creators of this anime. They must have been playing H-games the night before the deadline for their show was due, and the producers were probably desperate and buzzed. It kind of saddened me.
If anything nice can really be said about this anime, than I don't know of a way to say it with a straight face. I don't really like writing poor reviews on things, but I just had to. At least it was worth even thinking about it a second time. That's one of the reasons I didn't write a scathing review on School Days. I just didn't want it to stay in my head.
All in all, this was not as bad as School Days, but I would not recommend it to anyone I know. Let's just leave it at that. Every anime viewer has to maintain some level of dignity. This is not worth it if you want to retain that level.
