boy loses his family to the antagonists of the series. vows to avenge their deaths. enters a military-style school and trains so he can slay those who did him wrong. blah blah blah. conveniently manages to survive despite being a hot-headed piece of shit who can't follow a single damn order. seriously, how?? is?? he ?? still ?? ALIVE??

anyway, that's all i'd like to say on the matter. if i feel up to the task, i might make a few edits and add more complaints (i don't often make critical analyses because i feel like they ruin entertainment aspects--not to mention the fact they're so draining. if someone were to pay me for my opinions, though ... that would be an entirely different story)
