Higashi no Eden is definitely a refreshing anime, rather than any other typical mystery anime like death note or mirrai nikki this anime will not give you that heavy pain which is worse than anime pads. 11 episodes seems little but it help the story to flow in a straight line, you would never get a chance to fast forward any scenes in the entire series.It is rated violent/profanity but trust me its been handled so well that even kodomo's can't get hurt from these scenes.

Sound:
You would get involved in the story so much that you wouldn't get the chance to know well the BG-score support the story. the song at the ending scene is simply awesome

Characters:
Not too many characters in the series, since all other areas are so good the character development seems normal but it was actually good, especially akira's development(from naked men to savior prince ).

Bottom line: If you are suffering from pads this series will definitely make you feel better.
