I liked slapstick kind of style anime like Gurren Lagann, those genre are kind of rare so i decided to watch this series.
The Art is great and somewhat fresh in this time of Anime. The over the top (but not serious) ecchi/nudity is treated like a joke and not taking the enjoyment of this series.
Really liked the characters especially Mankanshoku Mako. There wasn't any character that i didn't liked which is not a very good sign for a story-telling.
The cast list is good (kudos to the best new comer, Suzaki Aya), and nice to know that Koshimizu Ami voiced a main heroine role and a rare villain role for Park Romi.
But the one that made this Anime lively is the music, really loved 'Before my body is dry'. The insert song is filled with passion, the main reason i can finish watching this series despite the very poor plot.

Now about the negative point, the plot, the plot is EXTREMELY WEAK. If you compare with anime like K-Kings, this kind of story are meant for children/ preteen who loved brainless anime and watch in order to see explosion and henshin-scene.
The storyline can be weird sometimes, for example when Ryuuko clashed with Satsuki, the leader, and the results looks tied, yet Ryuuko has to climb all over again in order to fight Satsuki. I wasn't surprised by the story and the plot twist was predictable from the very beginning. To think that this anime came from the maker of Gurren Lagann.

In the end, for me Kill la Kill is just another BAM- KABOOM action Anime with a different taste. The characters and sound is the consolation for the story.
