well Im mostly summarizing since I noticed there aren't any reviews and I usually hate when there aren't any because I want to hear how the story is from another viewpoint before I waste my time with something I don't really like so Im not going into great detail.
So the story is and isn't a cliche and I'll explain why. Our mc (main character) in the very beginning was over weight and not all that attractive although she still had a lot of guy friends, but miraculously she sheds all her weight within one week of depression over one of her favorite characters dying in a manga that she loves (oh and did I forget to mention she's an otaku). The whole becoming more beautiful thing isn't at all unique in its aspect, but the fact that she did it in one week is and along with being different its really unrealistic so if you're looking into a nonshoujo characteristic manga you're at loss. Anyways so of course as expected every male that had been presented previously falls for her new beautiful look and there was really only one who feels the same whether Shes fat or skinny, so undoubtedly its who pull want to root for. So that's the beginning of the harem aspect and superficial aspect as well which is something that I do not enjoy whatsoever because all the guys but one only liked her after she became beautiful and it really makes you hope for some odd twist where she gains weight again just to see what happens.
Anyways the art is really beautiful and I think it's what I like the most out of it all. It's used often I must say but I still really like it and I think it fits its story well.
The characters are nothing special but your usual cliche characters to be honest with no three dimensional aspects. The main character is your usual dense, hard working, common senseless, kind hearted otaku with no real depth while the males are trundere, normal, nonchalant, etc characters and one word is really all you need to explain them and there's three characters in itself that I just named.
I think the enjoyment is based on the reader to be honest so I don't have much to say. It passed time for me and that's good enough.
overall I give it a 7 or a 6.5 for you pessimistic ones. It's something that passes your time and if you keep a good outlook you'll enjoy yourself and hopefully the story will get more interesting from here on.
