Jealousy has a way of turning into such a hideous deformity. A curse brought forth by the most baseless of emotions. Now a timely tradition in the area of Rinin. A maiden is chosen of the women of this rural community to be savagely raped by a group of individuals called the "Rikan Club", all due to her beauty. I suppose in a way an emphasis of, for the good of all and the price of vanity. I found it interesting, although yes it is an anime/hentai, that the people of such a community as this, knows full well that these practices are committed, yet do nothing to stop it.
In this particular hentai, each episode will show you the experiences that each "chosen", and i use the phrase rather loosely because the chosen are ridiculously chosen, goes through. Defiant at first after being barraged, gang raped mercilessly by the individuals of the club, slowly watching as each new destroyer, condemner, defiler, breaks the will of the chosen. Its interesting, and yes i know it is a hentai, how the will is bent by the overly consuming fires of lust. How after the ceremony is over and the women no longer chosen, are so completely broken that they crave or desire the act of rape. Very fitting for the fan base that enjoy it.
Rinkan Club has a variety of adult content for a variety of viewers, from my all favorite milfs and cougars, to blossoming high school teenagers for others, a yuri sort of attraction between the president of the club and her closest friend. Urination, bondage, although very lightly, to semen enemas with an explicit ending, even an incest masturbation scene. The scenes are not so hardcore for newcomers or even veteran lovers of hentai, but not so light, a word of caution for the more squeamish viewers. Of course that is only cautioning the sexual acts, but also this could be an issue for those that have a strong opinion against rape. There is much of it, and in large groups, so yeah. It could leave you uneasy, so tread cautiously. Otherwise nothing so major you would think it crossed a taboo line.
Animation/Characters
The animation style seemed a lot like the artwork of Highschool Of The Dead, not that i'm saying it is, only that it looks like it for reference reasons, disregarding the need to cover up the naughty parts and instead fully embracing them. Sometimes the design for such areas makes it seem kind of comical and utterly ridiculous, for example the character Akio, she is one of the older women while i know drooping can sometimes occur with age, the way it was handled kind of made me chuckle. Yet i feel that it was done on purpose to ridicule her character. A way for the defilers to break her spirit so to speak. The men look all the same, so much of the detail is centered mostly on each individual female character. I was glad to see that in this one, the women looked like women while the girls looked like girls. Its not unusual, but not common either so i give this hentai props for doing so.
What greatly pleased me so was the attention seemed to be cast toward the more mature group of women. Clearly designed for consumers that enjoy mature and milf genre. However, it is probably to show how the mighty, mighty being women of authority, being brought down by the masses and shown their true colors. That being said, its not really that kind of genre. Most of the victims are rather busty, shapely, and well placed. Something all too common in hentai and very uncommon in reality.
Overall
It kind of hits you how violent sex can be, and can destroy something so cherished. Rinkan Club, reminded me a lot of Bible Black in a few ways, so there didn't seem much of a difference, yet i liked it all the same. It held up a more sexual manner rather than story, using only minimal dialogue to get straight to the erotic scenes. Which for those that care more for substance will get disappointed. Its still a continued series, and the third episode ends in a manner that has me waiting to see the next installment.
