I find it similar because of it's plot and the main characters.
Both of the MC involvement in yakuza's, police and other organizations are so similar.
and not to mention the art looks good too!they both also start strong from the very start. but has a "character growth or development" :D
*they don't have the same author and artist btw :D

Sun-Ken Rock and Heat are very similar gangster / yakuza mangas, they are both dark and realistic, however Heat is darker in that the mc has a darker more underworld personality than Ken does. Both have great art and are good seinens about crime and gang fights. The art styles are Really good - different and distinctive while both being realistic.
