Both manga are about a female vampire and a guy who discovers her secret.
Karin is a "special" vampire though and both are able to walk outside during the day and go to school.
Karin and Jitsu wa Watashi wa has a vampire as a main female protagonist. In addition, their relationship with the main male character becomes a pivotal focus in their story plot. Both series are considered romantic comedies that mixes supernatural themes as other characters in the show also exhibits inhuman traits. There is clear amount romance that becomes evident as their story progresses. Karin is also known for its more extensive story that gets slightly darker later on. On the other hand, Jitsu wa Watashi wa focuses mainly relationships with slice of life style of storytelling.
Both are about vampires who expose their secrets to humans that have the same vibe.
They start out as romcoms and become more dramatic as secrets of the vampire world/society and the main heroine are revealed.
