From both series, the main characters gets thrown into a scenario where they are blessed with special powers. These powers have potentials to change the world and we see how they use them throughout the story. Both series also contains twisty mystery especially in regards to the origins of the powers.
Both mangas:
- have characters who can control others with vocal commands
- have a central plot of the MC and MC's allies creating a nation and conquering others
- Both MC's are aware of the potential misuse of their powers/have accidentally misused their powers
- lots of grey and grey morality
