Created by the same author, both series adapts a story taking place at a school life setting where relationship and youth is explored. The main male protagonist are kind and there is a lot of emphasis on relationship building. Their story pacing is also considered slow with subtle romance that gradually develops. There is an elegant innocence that readers will feel as they read through both series. Recommended for anyone interested in lighthearted drama.
They're both by the same mangaka, so they're artwork are very similar. Both have a similar atmosphere between the characters, which make them really lovely; though "Isshuukan Friends." has a more complicated plot than "Kimi to Kami Hikouki to." Both were published before as novels.
