Both Devilman and The Guyver have a main protagonist that changes into a strong humanoid entity after establishing contact and connecting with another life form (Amon in Devilman and The Guyver Unit in Guyver). The main protagonists in both manga must transform and utilize their superhuman skills to preserve mankind from numerous monster opponents that can morph into humans. Along with having a similar feel and tone, they are also action-packed with lots of blood, gore, and violence. If you like one, you'll probably like the other.
