Hikari reminds me of Takami both being very boyish. And Kei reminds me of Akira.
If you like Special A/Venus Capriccio I'm sure you'll enjoy the other.
The relationship shared between Takami and Akira is very similar to Kei and Hiakari's. Kei, like Akira, is reserved, brilliant and confident. Hikari, like Takami, is awkward when it comes to relationships, speaks her mind and is boisterous and optimistic. Both mangas are very entertaining and enjoyable, the character relationships make them a humorous and light-hearted read. Although, of the two, I found Venus Capriccio to be slightly deeper than Special A. I would still recommend checking out the other if you enjoyed one of them.
these two are very similar in a way .. Takami remind me of Hikari same goes for Akira and Kei ..
Both of the heroines are sometimes unfeminine, clueless, or naive. Although they may do well in a certain field, usually, there is one guy who beats her that she has known from her childhood. Of course, the heroine is not fully aware of his feelings for her.

Venus Capriccio is a musical story. It may not have the intense rivalry between kei and hikari but you'll find some nostalgic things as you read through.
