I'm not sure how to explain it. When I saw Basquash I intently thought of Air Gear. Something about the main characters being bold and out going. A regular sport using advanced gear and such.
Both shows feature futuristic street sports action and don't skimp on the fan service.
For both Air Gear and Basquash, they involve in a sports that is quite unique and not the typical type we see in our own world. It also deals with technology beyond our times and tests players to their limits.
In both series, the main male protagonist becomes skilled in this evolution of sports where he takes on other competitors. Thus, competition in both series are highly involved. The main male protagonist in additional also has a peculiar relationship with one of the main female protagonists.
There is action, drama, and comedy in both series. The OST and Op song in both series are also noticeable
