Both Princess Tutu and Petite Princess Yucie are magical girl shows, that will appeal to many people, even those who dislike said genre. They have great emotional stories, interesting characters, and wonderful production values. These are the "best of the best" in regards to magical girl shows. They are similar in tone, atmposhere, and style. And although the plots are vastly different, I think fans of one series would like the other as well.
The art and overall feel to both animes are fairly similar. Though the stories may not tread on the same ground, Tutu being the "deeper" of the two, they both were enjoyable watches.
Both take on a darker edge as the end draws near and the theme of Personal Identity is present in both.
If you like Tutu you'll enjoy Yuushi and vice versa.

Similar atmosphere and themes. Art styles are similar, protagonists are too. Yucie is definitely lighter in tone, but towards the end of the series the show gets very emotional. If you like one you'll like the other, they're personally some of the best mahou shoujo.
