In the 90's Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z was the Shonen anime that made a lot of people fan to the anime. In this time, Naruto is the Shonen anime that had made a lot of people fan to the anime being Naruto their first anime. Anime that are more popular than any other in the western world, bar Pokemon. They are both pretty predictable and generic, but a lot of fun.

The two are very good because, many adventures, battles and some characters and techniques remind me a lot of Dragon Ball Z, but I go more for Dragon Ball Z, because it is my favorite anime.
