Both are colorful, quirky shows involving high school boys in crazy situations. Meganebu! is slighty more based in reality than the magical premise of Binan Koukou, but both series feature similar archetypes.

They are like sister anime of each other. You have five boys in the main cast, an evil student council, lots of jokes and goofs, colourful designs and SOL - cute boys doing cute things. Both anime know that they're parodies and they embrace it.
All you need is MEGANE.
All you need is LOVE MAKING.
All the five main boys are in the same club (the glasses club and the earth defense club). Their enemy/antagonist is the student council. The genres includes comedy and slice of life (Which they are.). Their vibrant colors gives them the unique looks. You can say "this looks cute and gay (in a good way)" because that's the truth.
