Love-At-First-Glance. A girl madly falls in love with the ‘guy’ who does not want anything to do with her, but otherwised gives in.
Both "Nodamn Cantabile" and "There she is" takes in this theme. The relationship eventually goes through a process where the 'guy' has to deal with inner-conflict with staying in relationship.
"Nodamn Cantabile" has Chiaki and Nodame dealing with their dreams in becoming musician clash with trying to staying together. "There she is" has Nabi and Doki dealing with discrimination.
Another great similarity is the hilarious antics of both parties.
