Both series contains a strange atmosphere from the very first pilot episode.
Furthermore, there is the essence of yuri in the air that mixes in elements of comedy, drama, action, and later on emotions.
There is also the destiny theme in which the two main female protagonists must undertaker in the series in a climatic battle.
Two girls become besties by living together, bathing together, and fighting evil shit together until one seemingly turns evil and the two besties fight each other in the end. Implanted in the two main characters, the theme of sacrifice and concept of potential betrayal are present in both series.
