Sankarea

Sankarea reminds me a lot of Penguindrum. When watching the first few episodes I got that same wonderful feeling that I got when watching Penguindrum, that this anime was going to be great.
The hilarious thing is that Sankarea and Penguindrum both have Ryohei Kimura in it. Both anime also have storylines about parents who were abusive and the background music is very similar too. I am sure if you like Sankarea you will like Penguindrum and if you like Penguindrum you will like Sankarea :)
