Both are about single-gender groups of friends doing hilarious things in a skit format. I got similar vibes when watching both. Both have a straight man with black hair surrounded by crazy characters doing crazy things.
They're quite similar - same kind of humor, both parody. DKnN may be randomnier than Yuru Yuri. But you got the same feel while watching them.
Humor random staged mainly by one sex , where the protagonist does not highlight anything , being the most normal of all the characters .

They are very similar as Both of them including characters of one gender (Female or Male) conducting ridiculous staff whether in school or in any other places.
