Yeah, after watching Code Geass (both seasons) I had to do that picture, since I couldn't find one. As for Mikuru Beam versus Mikuru Geass, that would be tough to call. I'm leaning toward Geass, because its manifestation is unpredictable, and there is a chance Mikuru could manifest a power that Nagato might either be vulnerable to or unable to negate.

I agree, I gave Saki a 7. I liked it and it made something which doesnt sound that exciting interesting. It looked like it was going to be simply a fan service series but it grew out of that somewhat. Though I found all the steam and fog pretty hilarious. I mean its just boobs, animated boobs. Censorship always amuses me.
Ja you got that, since I dont ever drop anime you will always have me there!

Heh I dont know anything really about Mahjong. I read a wiki article on the rules but it didnt make alot of sense. The subs I am using have notes on what some of the terms mean but still many of them are still confusing. Seems like a fun game though!
Wow been a long time too! What have you been up to anyway? Seen anything really good recently? Or looking forward to something from the fall? Mostly I am waiting for Shana OVA ans s3 since im such a fangirl.

It's true that I'm an L fan, but I don't hate Light. Mind you, I'm not a crazy fangirl who snaps at anyone who bad mouths L either. I just find his intelligence intriguing. I was actually a Light fan when I started the series, but since I like playing fair 'n square, I switched to L after what he did. I still recognize his wits and cleverness though, he's an evil genius.
A character that reminded me of me....that's very difficult, seeing as even I don't understand myself sometimes. My personality can change from calm, ind and dignified, to hyper and outgoing, to cold and cynical depending on my mood and the situation... it's rather odd. I don't even know myself anymore.
Haha, you just made it simpler for me. Another reason is that it's time consuming, and that means I probably wouldn't be there half the time, which leads to me being irresponsible. I'm too lazy for that sort of stuff.
Aw, he sounds really cute. It's a little sad too that Horo reminds you of him. Does he look like her by any chance?

Hmm, I'm a bit torn. I want to check out all the alternative endings and branchings, but I liked the anime ending so much, I'd hate to ruin Rika & friends' perfect world. =P
Heh heh, I needed some funnier stuff to pick me up after the latest episodes of Tokyo Magnitude... seriously depressing. The toughest part of following manga for me is a.) remembering where I left off and b.) knowing when the latest translation is released. So I keep losing momentum and forgetting about it along the way. I think I've started and stopped Hayate no Gotoku like 6 different times in 6 different places. But yeah, I should've started reading manga earlier. =D It's funny, the SNM anime is a dead-on adaptation of the manga, in some cases from panel to panel. And Yotsuba's just freaking hilarious.
Oh, so that's the reason they took out the machete. Bummer. People are just too reactive and irrational.
Yeah, depending how Bake ends up, I'd definitely give it a 8-9. I wonder if it'll stay arc to arc, or whether they're planning to tie the storylines together at the end. The last 3 episodes are supposedly webcasts which is a bummer, cuz the show's so beautiful in HD.
It's not ESP, it's Geass. =P And I bet you are thinking of Rena, cuz I just noticed Rei #5 is out!

Interesting. Manga-only stories? So how do they work, do they serve up alternate endings or do they add some more branches to the anime plotline?
God, Higurashi on national TV would be the worst thing ever. I can't imagine all the overprotective mothers and crap freaking out over it. Ugh, makes me sick thinking about it. Although I think there was some backlash even in Japan over Higurashi's violence, so I don't think they're completely exempt.
I think in terms of quality I'd go Bakemonogatari, S&W2, SNM, Umineko, but in just pure enjoymet, I think I've liked SNM the most. Bakemonogatari is ridiculously interesting though and the fanservice is off the charts!
Oh yeah, I'd love to hear some good shows to add to my list. I think fall's definitely going to be a catchup type of season. I'll suggest you a couple as well. =D
