The PS3 is NOT $600. That was the original price. The 40gb model is only $400 and they're releasing a MGS4 bundle (80gb PS3 with Dualshock 3 controller + MGS4) for $500. That's an amazind deal. I bought my 20gb PS3 (upgraded to 160gb) on launch day for $500. The price has come down significantly since launch.

I own all current generation consoles and I must say, You've made a huge mistake. The Wii is undoubtedly my least favorite. (and everyone elses who owns multiple consoles.) Do yourself a favor and try to get your hands on a PS3. Seeing as how you're an MGS fan, I take it that you're at least somewhat of a hardcore gamer. Is the Wii all by itself really satisfying your gaming needs? Remember, owning more than one console is always better.
