Ahahaha xD well, i'm very picky in a way ^^;;;
I get disappointed when something doesn't end the way i want it to be, so i'm kind of scared rying out new things ._.
Mystery is cool xD but , right. When you don't understand what's going on, it becomes confusing @_@
Ooh.. I see.. =)) i'm a certified hopeless romantic xD i even pair up my fave couples even though there isn't really any romance between them... (i sense their chemistry *_*) =DD

I should start to read more manga, some of them are really great and very interesting, just like my favorite anime series. I will choose few manga series to read soon and I guess your manga list will be very helpful for me in this case. :)
I see you've started reading Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, it's beautiful story, hope you will like it.

hmm.. i don't watch anime that much (and if i do, i'm very random.)
i have no idea what to recommend to someone if s/he needs anime titles (but if it's manga, i'd gladly recommend my faves!) , but...
i guess i could name a few anime series that i really liked ~
* brave 10 - not too romantic, but there are hints of care and concern from our protagonists~ <3
* sket dance - awesomely hilarious
* peach girl - still at the #1 spot in my top faves list. drama bum overloooad XD
* shinrei tantei yakumo - combination of mystery + supernatural abilities + hints of romance. very awesome combo for mystery-romance lovers like me +_+
* ghost hunt - scary. haha ahdunno. it's not my genre. i just tried watching 'cause it's a supernatural-slash-mystery type of story so... ^^;;
* detective conan - mystery + super slow-paced romance. _ _;; i just hope ran and shinichi will end up together. //sigh
i see. i'm an AVID FAN of shoujo romance <3 ~!
i always and ONLY read series that are purely romantic, may it be shoujo or shounen. but shounen, most of the time, portrays heavy romance with fanservice and ecchi stuff, so most likely, i end up reading SHOUJO romance.
but the mystery genre is an exception. i love mysteries. those heartskipping cases and breathtaking action and stuff..
are you also a hopeless romantic?
