We've been kind of inactive lately but nobody can blame us, we have school and universities to deal with and above all we have a real life to live! C:
I'm here to talk with you some very very important stuff. As some of you may know, on 19th May we're going to celebrate MCA's Birthday C: Well, me, angel and lots of other staff members thought up some ideas (angel put them together so I thank her deeply). I know that angel was supposed to organize this but she has some personal problems and she can't deal with everything even if she's our angel C:
Now. Let's get to real business. First of all, I want to announce you that May will be MCA's month! We'll celebrate its birthday the whole month, therefore nobody needs to make any special edition for May (this is why I didn't update the cards themes thread) but in exchange you have to help in events. Like... everyone. I'm going to tell you everything about the events and what they consist of and I'll try to answer your every question: 1) There is an event called MCA Trivia. Many of you suggested it so it was chosen. MCA Trivia consists of thirty-one (31) questions about MCA and/or its staff members. There are 31 questions because there are 31 days in May so there will be one question per day. I'm going to open the threads everyday and people will send me their answers through private message so that it won't be any cheating of any kind. The ones who get it right will be able to obtain a present made by us. This is where I need your help. I want everyone to make a badge or a card which I can offer as presents. Two or three per card maker would be nice... but I won't push it xD On the badge/card there should only be written MCA or Member Cards Addiction, the name of the user who got it and Trivia Event. It doesn't need to be a date or anything. Please try your best and make something... it doesn't take longer than 15 minutes at max! I can't make 31 presents... :( Also question suggestions are welcomed please!
2) The next one is an event called Admins'Faves. The event will last three days - 10th, 11th and 12th may. On 10th May there will be an edition of 40 posts for Male Favorite. On 11th May there will be another 40 posts edition for Female Favorite and finally, on 12th May there will be another 40 posts edition for Anime Favorite. Every card maker who joins these must choose a male, female and an anime which they absolutely love and are crazy about. ONLY ONE!. and make cards with them - who doesn't love making cards with their favourite chara?
3) On 19th May we'll have an extra big mega super duper edition with the theme: FRIENDS. The edition will be called: MCA's Anniversary RE. One card is enough... everyone can find time to make one card, just please join. The time you spend apologizing to me for not being active or for not being able to participate in any of these events can be used in making one card AND delivering it to me so you have absolutely no excuse this time.
4) Finally, we're gonna have Admin Appreciation Week! It will last from 13th may to 20th may. It will be a message box where members can appreciate us.
Now, I want to ask you all to take this seriously. I'm not free as a bird either so I understand everyone that you can't because of school or exams or stuff but I don't think you study 24/7... 10 minutes per day is everything MCA asks for.
Also we'll need the postmen this upcoming month so brace yourselves!
If there is anybody in the staff which doesn't participate in at least one of these events, I'm gonna get really mad... Exceptions: the ones on full hiatus

Why am I writing a staff newsleter, you ask?
Because it's a notice, more than anything.
Thanks to a bet we (me and Hime) made (which I won), I had the right to make an order regarding MCA.
My order allows me now to take care of organizing, shaping and leading the operations we will make for the grand event in May.
Why in May? Because it's MCA's birthday, you silly caterpillar!
Gee.
But you see, I want it to be a month-long event, composed of multiple sub-events.
And while I have some ideas of my own, I need more.
Please, go to the staff chatroom and talk to me. Propose ideas, discuss other's...tell me your general availability.
I want everyone (except those that are on full hiatus) to help out.
Even you, inviters - help grow the members! - and you, NL senders. I will like members to receive an Event-class newsletter everytime something new pops up. And if I like, they will.

We finally decided what event to do for Easter. So... me and angel and whoever else wants will make some eggs (the number of eggs is decided by the number of card makers who participate). Random eggs. Each card maker who participates is assigned one egg (we won't tell the members which is which). Then we will let the members choose an egg. The card maker who was assigned to that egg will have to make a card/badge/something for that person c: Something like The Designer's Club did for winter (of course, we will credit them if there is the need).
So, I need to know who is participating. Please announce me ASAP so I know how many eggs there will be~

Finally I found time to do some mca-ish stuff! Yahoo~ Well... we have a lot to talk about!~
1. I updated the "Hiatus list" so please tell me if it's okay. ^.^ I mean, like, if the info there is up-to-date.
2. I also updated and added new themes~ Sic'em, boy~ (<--- lol sorry if it's offensing but I saw this line in Supernatural and really wanted to use it ) We are celebrating Sadame-tan's Birthday in 23th March and hibaricloud's Birthday in 19th April, so make sure to add some cards here and there C:
3. Hm... I thought a lot of this upcoming holiday, Easter. Everyone knows about Easter, right? Well, it doesn't seem to have a fixed date so I chose 31st March as a date of celebration. I need some opinions here... do you guys think we should make an event out of this holiday? Like... we make some personalized eggs (you know like those eggs from squiby) and hide them around the club and who finds them, gets a card (or badge or whatever the eggmaker wants) C: I personally think it's a good ideea to make as many funny events as possible to keep the club active in this period... ^^' So please tell me what you think asap! (and in case if you want to be an eggmaker)
4. Next. I opened the recruitment thread since we need inviters.
5. I thought how we could make the club more popular, how we could advertise it. And I got an ideea... but it doesn't work only if the card makers are all okay with it C: So, I thought that we should tell the members that if they add our banner on their profile in plain view, they could get +1 or +2 cards from some editions. What do you think? How many of you would be okay with it? C:
6. Based on your answers, I will send a member newsletter. More details will appear in the staff room so don't forget to check it ^.^

I updated and organised the Cards Guide thread. I am a little lazy atm so I won't add every theme I added... just please take a look C: Welcome back, chaos ^.^ (hope you're not on hiatus again so soon T.T) So~ Something tells me that Chamry and Chaos are being laaazy~~ I know I'm not one to talk (<--- lol) but please do something to increase the number of our members ^^ If you can think of any way we could advertise our club or something, please do tell me~ A lot of you have been really inactive :C Now the exam season is gone, so please start making some cards before the next exam season comes xD Starting with March, I'll start demoting inactive staff (and by inactive I mean the 2/3 months inactive ones, so don't worry ^^) :) 1) We need new official member cards ~! I... guess... nobody volunteers? :D
2) Ryuu's and Rose's birthday editions were on short notice so we missed them D: That's why we'll celebrate both of them next Sunday, 17th February ^^ I'm really sorry for this :(
