Hi there, just wanted to drop you a quick message to say thank you for your Baccano! review.
I just spent the past half hour reading over a bunch of them, and IMO yours was the only one that offered a fair reflection of an anime that is nothing more than an over-hyped dose of averageness.
And I don't think it matters much that you dropped it, since you certainly got an accurate impression of the anime from the 6 episodes you did watch, plus you saved yourself a few hours in the process by wisely not sticking with it
Although sadly your fine review is struggling for air in the sea of fanboys reviews :(
I agree with detective, don't drop Baccano!!! It is difficult to understand exactly who every is and what their purpose in the plot is right away, but it gets much simpler the more you watch. Come the end of series it will all make sense and it will be extremely satisfying when it does!
I promise you're opinion will improve on it. You have to watch the OVA's too. It's all one connected story and everyone's motives and the direction only becomes clear in the last twenty minutes of the series.
