Well, I guess there ae different meanings to moe. For one, I found the cast of Lucky Star to be moe. Second, it's because of its characters that it gets 8 and 2 extra for the awesomeness, if I were to use your calculations. Think about it, I loved the characters for Kanon, Clannad, Toradora, School Rumble etc, but none of them got 10. It's because Lucky Star, Aria and Haruhi are awesome that they got 10, not because of likeabale characters. I guess it's true they are cute in an unauthetic way, but then, I guess it's a feeling that comes from watching too much. I mean, most anime has characters that look like that. Majority of harems have this problem. They are targeted at the lesser fan audience, I admit that point is true. BUT you can't deny that K-ON has been highly entertaining despite the so-called "frame" that the characters have.
THe lastest HnE episode did another great twist. I love how the show is coming along, but I kinda dislike hte potential "romance" issue taht will pop up sooner or later.
I hope it will pick up man. I'd hate to see one of hte last good shounens get turn into a plain repeat telecast. Of course, with Shou Tucker dead, they pretty much showed that this season will be differnet from the last.
Oh I forgot to mention about Vakyria Chronicles, which has been alright for me so far. Not exactly something I'd recommend, but at least, it can't go lower than a 6. Also, Hayate no Gotoku has started out far better than season 1.

Well, I beg to differ about Lucky vs K-ON. I admit, Lucky Star is miles better than K-ON will ever be, but you can't discount the fact taht moe was a huge element in Lucky Star's game play. Also, you must see that K-ON's characters have similar traits to Lucky Star's (almost copied, IMO, Mio = Kagami, Ritsu = Konata, Yui = Tsukasa, Tsumagi = Miyuki). I admit to making a mistake in saying Lucky Star and Haruhi are shallow anime, but moe aspects were also of huge importance to either of them. But their difference in awesomeness is why Lucky Star and Haruhi both get 10, while K-ON gets an 8.
I'm strangly attracted to what Basquash has given. It has become my 2nd favourite of the season, with K-ON on top, and Higashi no Eden in 3rd. Yes, the GIANOMOUSLY HUGE breasts still... er... irritate (wonder if its the correct word) me, but hte storyline has been pretty darn awesome so far. Still reminds me of FLCL and TTGL alot.
I'm seriously hating it >_>. Even though Tucker is dead this time (and I'm sure Scar won;t die this time), if they wait till epi 26 before they move on to new ground I'm certain to drop it >_>. It;s a plain waste of time for them to waste 13 hrs of my life of repeats that aren't taht fun to watch. Even the humour was highly inappropriate (see Lior episode).

Hahaha, well, Cross Game will never be a favourite of mine in anyway possible. Higashi no Eden is very entertaining, but somehow I found hte plot vaguely familiar. Looks like we have another rare disagreement. I strongly feel K-ON is my favourite of the season, you see, and while it's greatly true that it's shallow and moe, you can't deny Haruhi, Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, have all been based on these aspects, and how great they were (or at least, at that point of time you thought they were great). I don;t understand your defination of awesome in a sense, since alot of the previous moe/shallow anime were pretty darn awesome to me.
Saki is sucky, plain and simple >_>. I also noticed our lack of mention about the new FMA. By episode 4, I'm pretty much sick of it already. I;ve seen this before, and watchinga a remake is not gonna make me very happy about it. Other then a differnet 1st epi, Lior, how they became state alchemist, and hte Shou Tucker episode were pretty much repeated, and I don't like it. What's your take on that?

Hmm, unlike you, I'm still greatly fond of K-ON. Despite it being no Lucky Star, it is still highly amusing to watch. Of course, Higashi no Eden has been excellent as well. Cross game is alright, but I'm not throwing any confetti, unlike you are. Basquash, I'm still alittle skeptical, but 3 episodes in and I'm enjoying it pretty well. Saki is, well, sucky. They have done NO explaining to the rules of the game whatsoever, and I don't feel any interest emitting from the games that HnG ans SnO gave. I'm no avid mahjong player (only played it maybe twice?), but hte very least they could do was to make the game interesting. All they've done is to show near impossbile winning cases (like the latest episode show how Saki got the 13 different tiles with onlly one pair, the single most difficult way to win in the game). Tears of Tiara was dropped after one episode too >_>.
