Ah, I've found it! Nodame Cantabile is something I am going to like!

So far I am really enjoying it! I really love the characters, I also don't see how any normal human could keep their sanity in that town. I would probably be more like Shuichi, rocking back and forth repeating" mad, mad this town is going mad." xD
The artwork is really great, surreal, and disgusting! The artist is awesome at depicting gruesome, twisted bodies. Jack-in-the-box almost made me barf up breakfast! All of the stories are really captivating, creepy, and disturbing, well except for the one where Kirie's hair went crazy with spirals, that one was pretty funny. :)
I was supposed to have been reading a 280 pg. book for history class AND writing a 3 page review on it today (yay procrastination!), but then I read a chapter of Uzumaki...and another, and another...I wasn't expecting to be so drawn in by it. I actually had to force myself not to finish it today. I will definitely be purchasing this manga in the future. =]
I have to go read this crappy, boring book now... maybe I won't fall asleep, wish me luck! xD

Gungrave kinda disappointed me. It's not really for me. I'm not a fan of guns or mafia or anything, Phantom was probably my only exception ever for that. The first episode just seemed so... lame. Nothing really happens and the action isn't exciting. The plot seems very predictable. Well, when I'm talking about older anime that is pretty much all I'll ever say.
I got a lot of stuff on hold that I pretty much am thiis close to dropping, but for whatever reason I don't.
Air kinda interests me, but at the same time it's boring. It's like a downgrade of clannad for me.

Well, I knew it was never good to begin with. I really had nothing better to watch and so I just kept going on it since it was at least bearable. I don't know... maybe I'm just tired of it now? Everything about it is just pointless and confusing. You visit the forums for it and all they ever talk about is how well they are adapting the VN into the anime (which all of us that haven't played it know that it actually does an awful job). Meh, unfortunately I still have nothing to really keep my interest, and Umineko is doing a better job of that than the other things I'm finding recently. I plan on finishing it, even though the longer it goes on the more of a hole it digs itself. Oh, and did you know? Battler can use "Blue" words now in order to disprove witches! It's getting real good now! -_-
I recently watched Hatsukoi Limited though, and I thought it was surprisingly good. I watched the first episode of Aoi Hana and it seems very promising, so once I finish my 1st-episode-watching-spree on a few more anime I will probably go back to that. Unless I find something else that proves to be more interesting to me, which is unlikely as the only time I've done this and found 2 series that I liked at once was when I found Phantom and DtB. That was a good day.

I'm not going to lie, it's starting to get really hard to care about Umineko at this point.

I don't really feel like reading manga right now to be honest. :/
My right pointer finger has been scaring me. It has hurt really bad for the last couple days from playing all of those VNs at high velocity. You...?
Oh, and first thoughts on Bakemonogatari?

I blame my sister for it, but yea I do. =p
I actually though Air was decent until right near the end of the series, It really confused me, you'll see...or maybe you'll understand it. xD
I'm not really having computer problems, just HDD problems. Never buy Seagate hard drives! I bought 3 of them because they had a sexy 5 year warranty on them, and all 3 crapped out within a year...I have had them all repaired and my computer is doing fine for now, I don't trust Seagate HDD's anymore though.

I see... well luckily for me, I have no problem dropping something that absolutely holds no interest for me. I've started to become more lenient as of late, however. It just doesn't seem like there's any more gems out there whether it be anime or manga. Other than DtB and Bakemonogatari, my favorite airing show right now is Kampfer. :/ I need to find more amazing works, the stuff right now is not cutting it for me. After reading Onani Master I really want to find something else I can consider great. Finding something good causes me to want more--it's a bad habit of mine.

How is Air?

I know, it's great and catchy! That and Potato are the most memorable things about the entire series...Well, I still find myself saying "GAO!" sometimes at random, or whenever I see a dinosaur. =]
I have reinstalled Ever17 three different times on three different HDD's, 2 of which crapped out on me...The farthest point I got to was on You's route, I was just past the part where they saved the girl from the elevator. I will most likely pick it up again next week.

That's good for you ^__^ And well each Anime has its flaws. None can be perfect =) And drawn to cliched/stereotypical characters? lol Although I too am drawn to popular shows, mainly because I want to know why is it given so much hype. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is one such Anime. And artwork or animation does play a role for me nowadays. I just can't seem to enjoy old school Animation, no matter how good the Anime is. Something different is always good though. 5 centimeters per second was wonderfully made and that pretty much added to everything else from the Movie.
Ha ha, the protagonist is exceedingly boring. I don't understand why they sought out to create such a character. Ah well finish watching it and see what happens ahead. I don't want to spoil things for you =) Mizuko is kawaii though ^o^ And yeah the supernatural or the mythological stuff (as you can call it) was really notneeded. It ruined many things. Animation at certain instances could use some detailing too.
Yeah I pretty much saw that O_O It was heck boring, overly-stretched as well. I mean 167 episodes is just a bit too much I feel. Although the characters in the Anime were pretty nice, especially Sesshomaru. Very cool personality I must say. xD The Manga is the same as the Anime. Stretches out to more than 550 chapters. It's new season came out recently, I wonder how it will be =)
If it was entertaining then it was pretty much worth watching ^^. Personally I don't prefer Mecha but then if it doesn't revolve around Mecha then I don't mind it much =) That's why I loved Code Geass I guess. It isn't just about Mecha O_O Regarding NGE, I keep hearing these things on and on, and I really wonder about its end now. It's intriguing me xD I'll watch it soon. Currently watching Mushishi, heard great things about it so gonna watch.
Oh yeah, I heard you didn't particularly like Code Geass? Why so? :P
You never know the kind of people you can meet on the net. Some experiences might be funny while some may just be weird. lol I've been around posting in social networking sites and some forums so I myself have met many "kinds". In fact, right now there is someone added on my profile who most likely seems to be a fake. o_o I don't know why some people act the way they do, but I guess most of them belong to a mental asylum or at the least should go visit a shrink. xD And showed him your picture? :P lol Well understand the fact that most of the people you'll find on the net are here to flirt and get a girlfriend for themselves purely because their real life is nothing worth talking about. Finding solace on the net is what some people do. I kinda pity such people >.<
I read reviews mainly because they explain much more about an Anime than its synopsis. I'm ditto with you on the length though. Long reviews are boring ~_~ unless of course they are written in a way that was interesting to read. xD I guess that was why I read yours completely o_o
Bakemonogatari promises something new I can tell you that. It's definitely worth checking out, as I've seen many mixed views on this one as well. Personally I'll only come upon a definite conclusion once it ends. So far it has been interesting =) Have fun watching. xD
FLCL became popular mainly in the U.S and not in Japan. It all started when they first aired it in Adult Swim. Most of the fans there probably saw some entertainment in the senselessness of the Anime, not to mention its antics. On many occasions it actually seemed like a cartoon, I mean running over the Protagonist by that scooter reminded me of Looney Tunes =\ I did like the background score on a few instances but it wasn't that great enough to cover up the rest of its drawbacks. Even worst comedies have "some" storyline in them, this one just seemed stupid #_# And America crowned it as one of the best comedy Anime ever created =) woo hoo xD

Thanks, that torrent is in great condition too! I looked on Mininova for it but couldn't find anything but the movie and After Story...
nihonomaru had it on their list but the links were all broken. I haven't really looked for it anywhere else, I think I'll go look for it now. It HAS to be somewhere on the internet =]
By the way, you should watch episode 15 of Umineko before dropping it, It is pretty funny. :)
