Same! I'm surprised only about 4000 people completed it, but I guess it makes me more lucky to have found it.
How's Akage no Anne by the way? It looks pretty interesting, so I'm wondering what others think of it.

yep užas, zat i kažem kad se navikneš na hd/hq nema povratka :P
ovdje npr imaš najnovije epizode, možeš si vidjet razliku između 480/720/1080 ,tj. brzo se skidaju http://horriblesubs.info/
btw poželjno uključit "enable encryption" u postavkama - qtorrentu, tako da nevide šta skidaš (ovi šta ti daju internet, t-com, illi iskon kojigod..)
+ima nekih fora kako napravit da ti skida automatski nove epizode koje želiš čim izađu al vidim da nepratiš nove, tako da to bi bilo to I guess :P

10 titles in a month?! holy peanuts, that's a looot.
That's what makes me keep going too, every time I find an anime that catches me off guard, surprises me and shows me things I haven't seen before, and even if I have, certain animes just have a je ne sais quoi...I like this feeling, it reminds me of when I first started watching anime.
Problem is I'm not really sure...but I have a hunch there's something about this course that will be worth it in the end.
Lazy phase? haha I've been lazy since my birth, maybe mine lasts over 20 years >_<
Yes, I'm also very demanding when it comes to my 10's. Even if the show isn't perfect, it has to have something else that tells it apart from an ordinary story, it has to be more than just a good story. It's always subjective, no doubt about it. I don't like when people analise anime too analytically. It's not rocket science, it's harder, there are no equations nor completely right and wrong answers.
I know, I know, I've seen plenty of lists full of 10s, it's like every anime they enjoy is a 10 xD
Oh god but I dislike elitists even more. Actually the former don't really bother me...what I can't take is people who can't accept different opinions >_>
I've adjusted my list (just downgraded some 9s and 8s), and I think I'm happier about it now. Sometimes how odd and different a show is affects my judgement. I give them a bonus point for doing /this and that/. And I'm not gonna lie, other's opinions also affect me a bit. I mean the perception I have of an anime even before watching it...
Oh yes now that I checked, SSY's score also increased quite a bit. Many people do prefer watching animes when they finish airing, that's might explain it.
It just felt... overshadowed during the whole season, that's why I say it's not popular. Ofc if we compared with all the older animes registered on MAL, SSY seems popular, but not for a 2012-2013 show that just aired. Anyway, considering the genre...speculative sci-fi...which it's not exactly everyone's cup of tea, it's apparently doing pretty good.
Well, people say novel adaptations are rare and rarely go well, but this should probably set an example. Some claim there are serious pacing problems, I didn't felt it at all. I'll probably re-watch it some day and pay more attention to that, but if I didn't feel it while watching it 1 episode per week, I doubt I'll change my mind...
Same, just a final battle wouldn't suit PH ._. At least how I see it, PH never depended on flashy battles to be thrilling and exciting, its "battles/fights" are confrontations. Although at this point none of the sides seem to be willing to change their minds...I mean Leo/Glen and Jack, which I think are the only clear opposing forces. Then there's the "save-Oz" faction, our real heroes. I can't see a "simple" battle solving this situation.
Me too! I hope she starts another manga soon after finishing PH. I'm curious to see what she can come up with next...she definitely has a talent to surprise, soooo...~
Haha sure it would be nice to know what MochiJun has been saying in her blog...It's like me following Urobuchi on twitter without knowing any Japanese. I once used google translate thinking he was going to say something about anime, since one of his works had just started airing... but no, he was talking about food xD
It kills me the English publication is sort of frozen. I hope they continue translating them but I don't hold my hopes too high...Don't tell me I have to learn French or German in order to read them! >_<
I'd definitely buy those novels ;-; I tried to find the existing volumes...they're expensive :/

a ovisi šta skidaš, nove stvari ko zadnja epizoda od Naruta češ skinut za 5-10 minuta, nešto starije će potrajat, a baš stare mogu potrajat hours/days (ovisi o popularnosti torrenta) .. trebaš provat..

It has been a non-MAL phase but my love for anime has been renewed~ For a moment there I was afraid I was losing interest in anime.
Ahh I hate thinking about the future nowadays, it's a lot of pressure, I know it would be better if I just focused on the present and near future. Thank you, I'll need it...luck and motivation, especially the later, I'm really needing it

I feel the same way. But my list is really messed up and inconsistent, I can't bring myself to rate low animes with sentimental value. Well, there's some anime I rate with a 8-9 I like better than some of my 10s, I made an effort there! I guess 7-6 is an average anime for me (well when I think about it, I don't know what average anime is either, so those are the average from the ones I watched)...it's so wrong! This is why there are so many overrated shows on MAL and my list is full of 8s and 9s. The 8s are a mixed bag tbh.
You're right, anime is art and entertainment. It's great when animes have that special thing that makes me say "it's a masterpiece!" but as long as they're fun to watch I'm happy.
I was on the mood of watching "alternative" kinds of anime a few months ago too, one of the last thought-provoking, one of a kind anime I watched is from the last anime season Shinsekai Yori. It was such a pleasant surprise! If you're looking for something different you could try this one some time. It's an award winning novel adaptation, not only it has a great story as it's also special in the animation, direction and music departments. Some people say the pace wasn't so good, but I didn't notice a thing, to me it was perfect that way o_o
Agreed. To me tragic endings are never bad as long they make sense. The ending should feel natural (although I tend to feel disappointed if it's too simple) and have some sort of conclusion even if it's an open ending. Sounds like I'm contradicting myself haha. You know, that kind of good open ending it feels like it could go on, but that particular story is finished there.
How PH will end is what's making curious now that most of the mysteries are solved (if there anything left?). Yep I don't think they'll be able to get rid of Jack without losing something, even in the best case scenario, I'd be disappointed if things just went well for the sake of a good ending, but I trust MochiJun, I'm sure it will be great.
Yes, the part of Zai being mean to Oz makes perfect sense now and I can't really blame him...You're right, he seems to be more concerned about what he lost and getting revenge ._.
I don't know, maybe she'll make 21...? Who knows, she might have altered her initial plan.
haha probably! It's funny, she writes this twisted, dark story but she seems to be a humorous person. Maybe that's why she was able to write PH...it takes some spirit.
I have some volumes too, there's always extras but this chapter is sort of long it will take space in the volume o_o

Btw, I did some stalking, you're watching Juuni Kokuki? I watched it recently and loved it despite wanting to punch half of the cast at some points ^^; It's a pity they didn't finish translating the novels I really wanted to read them :/ The anime has some flaws but the plot, characterization and setting make up for them. ahhh I love fantasy, stories about kingdoms, medieval-ish societies...
