I was just as surprised as you were when I found out the illustrator was Taiwanese but for a Taiwanese person he can really draw, I think its a good thing that its widening ^^

The drawing are one of the best and its illustrated by a Taiwanese person named Vofan
and the characters are really unique and funny, especially Hitagi Senjōgahara
the first episode really grabs your attention (when Hitagi takes out all those sharp school supplies out of her clothing) lol
This anime does focus on the conversations, (people who want action will be disappointed)
The anime hasn't finished yet there are still two episodes left but its taking a while to be sub and all that
