History: My childhood consisted of only a few things: friends, playing backyard sports with friends past curfew, teenage mutant ninja turtles, Voltron, Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda. It was pretty fun now that I think about it. Then somewhere in between that, Rurouni Kenshin came into my life and paved the way for anime to take it over. Then before I knew what happened, I kind of had to go to college and figure out what the hell I wanted to do in my life. Somehow, I came up with the conclusion I wanted to get a ph.d., find the cure for cancer and save the world. I figure I need to take that one step at a time.
Current Game: Dragon Age: Origins (Xbox 360)
Sports: I'm a pretty avid sports fan, as I follow football (NFL), basketball, hockey, baseball and college football and basketball seasons pretty closely. So if you ever want to have a discussion about anything that has to do with sports, feel free to post a comment. I'll totally debate with you how utterly stupid the BCS system is in college football.

Awesome, I can watch some American Ice Hockey again on television. It's boring if they are all playing nicely... On a side note: I prefer to watch some rugby and not 'American Football'.
I have a horrible grade for my English Text test... It's a cursed 5,7! I can't believe it. I never got such a bad grade for a text. When my school level was higher ( I dropped even two levels ), I got 7's to 9's then. And now almost a six, when I even dropped levels...
Zetsuboushita! My English grade has left me in despair!

Thank you so very much, truly :) You have definitely contributed to that bundle of happiness I have been given today. The wine will wait for Friday, I think, and then I can hopefully put my feet up and indulge in a nice rom com! I'll have to start thinking about what I want to watch :D
Shin told me that we don't have to worry about feeling old until we change the first digit of our ages. So it's okay, we're still young :D
Also, I was going to ask... you're a big sports fan right? How was the superbowl? It always seems weird for me when the superbowl talk and ads all start because the CFL ends so early in comparison. Guess that's how it goes when you have six teams and live in the frigid north :P I wonder why they've never conglomerated like the NHL...

I've been wrapping up old stuff to finally get to work on my main thesis project. Got my prof's plan for my thesis outline yesterday... 6 core chapters aside from intro, background and conclusion. The next six and a half months may kill me :D

You know, thinking on a totally simplistic level, you'd think that it'd be at least a little exciting to get samples and do experiments and such, but then when you really think about all the work that's involved, it does kinda suck =( I guess it's a little hard for me to understand just how frustrating that would be haha
Kannagi and Pandora Hearts weren't too bad, I guess. And while you're starting to get back in watching anime, I seem to be falling a bit. I remember couple seasons ago I'd be watching practically all of the currently airing shows. Now, I watch probably only 3-5 shows and also drop stuff pretty easily. I think it's because I have a lot less time to watch anime than I used to so I'm being a little pickier on what I watch.
I had a good birthday. Well, not the actual day too much since I was working but the weekend was good. I got to hang out with my mom on Friday, friends threw a surprise party for me on Saturday, only part that sucked would've been Sunday since that's when I got sick. And I lost my voice Monday night. Apparently I had too much fun huh? =P
And yes I'm still in the day-care business. I'd like to change and move more towards my psychology major but I don't think it's a good time right now because of the economy and all. Plus, it'd be even harder for me since I only have a bachelor's degree. I'd have to go to grad school first, which is something I'm moving towards in the next 2 years.
Yeah so that's that. These comments are getting longer and longer :)

You excited for the new zelda game? myself I'm hoping it's better than TP, wasn't a huge fan of that zelda game, however i loved the goron dunegeon(the 2nd dungeon) thought it was a great design.

Oh, it seems--rumors indicate, at least--Towers of Midnight will be delayed to Spring '11 and A Memory of Light in Fall '12. At least the series will wrap-up before the world ends......

There's covers in both entries and I have entered the artists already. As I haven't read them yet, I can't provide much of a synopsis at this point.
The second one (Kimochi no yukue) has been serialized before the compiled volume was published by Kousai, but I couldn't find the publication in the list. It's Zettaireido. Maybe it would be overdoing it to call this a magazine - not sure where the guidelines for publications for MAL are. I think it comes out bi-monthly and has more of an anthology character. Anyway with its quite outstanding hardcore content I think most yaoi readers will have heard of it so I can not imagine that it has just been forgotten and will probably be missing on the list for some deeper reason.
I completely understand that it must be difficult at times to verify new manga entries. Do the db moderators ever see who submitted the entry? They can't ask the submitter any questions directly?
