History: My childhood consisted of only a few things: friends, playing backyard sports with friends past curfew, teenage mutant ninja turtles, Voltron, Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda. It was pretty fun now that I think about it. Then somewhere in between that, Rurouni Kenshin came into my life and paved the way for anime to take it over. Then before I knew what happened, I kind of had to go to college and figure out what the hell I wanted to do in my life. Somehow, I came up with the conclusion I wanted to get a ph.d., find the cure for cancer and save the world. I figure I need to take that one step at a time.

I doubt that Bleach will go back to being "good". as it stands now, its gonna be fodder characters against fodder characters,Vice Captains vs. Barragan's fraccion . Knowing Kubo, each fight will take at least 1 or at worst 2 chapters so that's 2 months more of waiting before the main event actually starts. oh joy. Hell, we might reach the end of the Mayan calendar and Aizen is still trapped by Genryuusai's Flame Prison (or whatever it is you call it). =P

Its surprising eh? I guess that's the case. Of all the female characters Oh! Great has drawn, my favorite one doesn't happen to be the more *cough*well-endowed*cough* ones. She also gets points for not being the typical lovestruck adolescent whose only role is a spectator character in a shonen manga. I can't wait to see the Storm Regalia she created. :D
anyways, I put Bleach on-hold foe being so downright shitty the last couple of weeks (I've been ranting about it in the chapter discussion threads since the main plot resumed). despite that, I found myself skimming through the chapter 320 thread to see if people actually missed me and want me to come back if Kubo's streak of crappy chapter is still alive. and what do you know, I read the comments of one of the Fraccion being a fairy. -_-

Hahah, no worries~ :P Yeah, it was pretty fun. I spent the day with my mom watching Disney movies (biiiiig classic Disney fan here).
It was a fairly good VK chapter, I thought. Yuuki continues to really annoy me, but at least it looks like Zero now has awesome powers. Although I'm starting to get the feeling that he's going to die. >.>

One of my favorites for sure!!! So many awesome characters. It's a great adventure anime, but it has a lot of humor which makes each adventure a fun one to watch. I'm glad I decided to pick it up :D

I'll probably hold-off nominating over the next few weeks. I'm too disheartened by Escaflowne not getting accepted into the club relations. and because the titles I've been nominating have racked up quite a number (Gankutsuou and Blade of the Immortal).
so you're gonna continue voting for Luffy eh? good luck with that as its a huge task just to get him nominated. when he does eventually get Spotlighted, (and the flaming, bashing, etc. that would go hand and hand with it) it can't get any worse than what happened to Horo right? xD
anyways, I just finished LoGH last night, and wow, some ride eh? its certainly lived up to its reputation as the most epic anime evar. and its maintains that epic-ness over the course of all the 110 episodes, talk about an impressive feat. the fact that an anime which hasn't even finished airing (which will not be named) is ahead of LoGH in the top anime page........sigh.

well, a show getting split into multiple seasons is common nowadays right? didn't that happen with GONZO splitting Tower of Druaga into 2 12/13 episode seasons and Vampire Knight?
this is just an assumption of mine (if the studios decide to follow the source material and not go on another direction, like Elfen Lied) but I'm thinking those 13 episodes will focus on just one major story arc (the introduction arc) and leave the next one (Mugai-ryu) for the winter anime season or even later in 2009. It makes some sense for the studio dividing BoTI in seasons. if they produce it like say, Studio Pierot does for Bleach and Naruto, wouldn't BeeTrain and Production I.G.'s budget spread thin over the course of the production?
actually I'm watching LoGH streamed on Crunchyroll. the high quality streams isn't exactly to my liking but I had no other options left since my laptop doesn't have a ton of memory. a 22 gig torrent would rape my hard drive.
28?!? What the hell? didn't Miguel Tejada or Bobby Abreu hit that many HRs a couple years ago? are those numbers the norm now in Home Run Derbies?

hahaha. I see you've been binge watching the last couple of days. try to get some breaks in between episodes. right now, I've seen 40 episodes of LoGH is a span of 5 days. by the end of the week, I could be halfway done! (the thought really frightens me)
about Blade of the Immortal's adaptation, regardless of whether its good or bad (I'm leaning toward the former), the anime would more or less be sort of a publicity stunt. which would be a good thing for the manga-ka as it would get casual fans to check out the source material.
I checked out parts of the episode via streaming RAW. and it still looks bland. not even the great Production I.G. studio can even come close to emulating the manga's art style? Guess that speaks volumes at how difficult it is for the manga's stills to moving animation. BTW, this post in one of the BoTI discussion threads cracked me up.

I just can't seem to pick which show the #5 favorite slot belongs to (for both anime and manga). on favorite anime, its been switching between Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Berserk and Top wo Nerae!. on the manga side, its Air Gear and Blade of the Immortal.

heh, there's plenty of room for everyone on the bandwagon! we don't say no to anyone. good thing its summer eh? lots of time to sit your ass in front of the computer, looking at the monitor for extended periods of time. (okay, that sounds kind of sad). though since LoGH is one hell of a lengthy OVA, you'll probably end up stalling most of the on-going shows you're watching.
BTW, the jury is out on the premier episode of Blade of the Immortal and reactions are a bit on the mixed side but there have been plenty who have RAGED at how horrible it was. have yet to see it though as I'm waiting for a subbed version. looks like its meant to be a BeeTrain-wreck (/facepalm, that was in bad taste). makes me wonder how in God's name Samura consented to BeeTrain gaining the rights to adapt his masterpiece. maybe they kidnapped his family? =/
