Hi again, how's it going? As ever, I see you're keeping up with your load of shows to watch. I'm currently in my last week of my internship at Morgan Stanley and after this I'll be going to Japan! Obviously Tokyo is on our schedule quite prominently and Akihabara will be one of our top priority places to visit. Is there anything you would like me to get you whilst I'm there? I need to pick up the Touhou Nendoroids myself and possibly some other related goods such as artbooks. I wouldn't mind bringing back anything for you as long is it isn't huge and heavy.

Glad to hear you're well. I had a brief stint at games again when I played Dragon Age for a while, but I clearly sucked since I got stuck on Normal difficulty. I might try it on Easy sometime.

Ah I hadn't heard much about Sora no Otoshimono apart from the flying pantsu ending. For one reason or another, I seem to get the sense that the plot is a little sad (I think I saw some pictures of Nymph) and didn't really see any comedy and ecchi images.

What puts me off Umineko is what I feel like some of the characters will be like. I get the sense that there'll be some really arrogant and stuck up bitches which really annoys me for some reason. I guess I just don't like the idea that someone is able to manipulate everything and then rub it in your face. Of course, this is only from what I glean off of the Internet.

The first episode of Dance in the Vampire Bund certainly disappointed me; didn't capture my attention at all, even with the vampire loli. I have seen some rather controversial scans of the manga where the loli is naked and strapped to some chair. If it goes down that route, perhaps I might watch it.

Ah, Nodame Cantabile is one of those shows I've heard good things about and am interested in, but haven't found the time to watch "properly" as it were. Certainly the premise with the two almost polar opposite characters was enough. I think I'll finish Mushishi first before I move onto something like that.

Hey there, how've you been? Another season has gone by and a new one is starting as always. I see you're keeping up with watching.

What did you think of the last season? Personally, I thought it was pretty weak, but I didn't watch too many shows (no Romance of the Three Kingdoms anime D:). Rather embarrassingly, my favourite was definitely Kampfer; the genderbending aspect immediately caught my attention and then the completely shameless pandering direction of the show just had me hooked. The ending certainly fit the tone of the show very well, namely "lolwut randum ecchi".

I also enjoyed Seitokai no Ichizon especially around the middle for the comedy. The drama segments in every episode was jarring at first but I soon got used to them, and eventually I began to quite enjoy them, as they fleshed out the characters more.

I knew I wouldn't like Sasameki Koto as much as Aoi Hana, but I just completely lost interest in that show after a while. Partly because I was editing the script which meant I knew what was happening in each episode without watching it properly, and also partly because I don't really like any of the characters so it just seemed soooooo slow.

I want to watch Kimi no Todoke at some point as I hear that's pretty popular, and also I want to carry on Trapeze. What are you thoughts are these titles in particular?

Also, I'm going to be watching Umineko quite soon. What did you think of it, and could you compare it to Higurashi? As you know, I loved the first season of Higurashi but couldn't stand the second. I'm not sure I'll enjoy Umineko either.

Lastly, what are you looking forward to this season? For me it's definitely the new Hidamari Sketch as I am a huge fan of the series. Other than that, Sora no Woto seems promising and there is quite some hype around Dance in the Vampire Bund. I also watched Ladies versus Butlers and Chu-Bra!!. The former was your generic harem ecchi comedy which I don't think is anywhere near as good as Kanokon and the latter I found to be unbearably boring (plus Chihara Minori's voice is so annoying). I'll probably stick with LvB though as I'll be editing the script again.

bleach manga was good will be interesting to see how zaraki and byakuya do against yammy.. manga just got much better now

End of Summer season and soon beginning of Autumn 2009. With the sheer number of shows airing, I doubt that even you could watch all of them. I've expressed my disappointment in it to you several times already but I really hope they release that Romance of the Three Kingdoms anime since there is basically no information known about that. Sasameki Koto is also high on my priority though I'm not sure I'll like it when it begins to develop.

Btw, how was Umi Monogatari after the middle and towards the end? I'm thinking of continuing watching it but I didn't particularly like what I've already seen of it. However, it wasn't that bad.

Well my Harddrive is fucked, can't even read it let alone recover any data.
