Manga compatibility with vaberella is:
|
Just going to give a break down to my section of this site. I plan on reviewing everything I watch and read, or at least 90% of them.
All things you find in the On Hold section in regards to Manga are mangas that I am currently reading, but I am waiting for updates from scantalators (so it's not directly related to release dates, since I don't read Japanese). So I'm in the process of reading them and put them on hold until they're updated and/or completed. I check them from time to time for updates.
The Plan To Read section are just as it says...plan to read. The Reading section are for completely translated mangas that I am reading through as we speak. So these are mangas that have no more updates waiting for them by scantalators. They are finished and up and ready for my reading. I just have to finish them. I get side tracked so I have more mangas on the Reading section than the On Hold section.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just wanted to put that out there. This is also similar to the animes except that the On Hold animes are the ones I either don't have the translation for but know there is a translation or I'm waiting for them to be translated which is similar to the manga set. The Dropped I've only used for one which I have to change because I do have it and I usually put those that I can't find anything for and dump it for the long haul.
The lists below are favorite people's, manga's in a rush to read that I wan to remember, and what not, so I can keep myself up to date. So anything that has a list secton, but I run out of room...I put here----it's not in any particular order, any longer. The main list for Favorite People has my top, but I would, if I had the time remove quite a few people and rearrange, but it's worthless since I don't have the time. In any event, I prefer doing this because I can add little blurbs as to why I like them, when I starte liking them, and/or what they offer....just to refresh my memory and might be good for others who are interested.
Extention: Favorite People List
1. Kurumatani Haruko
2. Shiiba Nana
3. Minami Kanan
4. Shimaki Ako
5. Yonekura Kengo
6. Miyagi Riko
7. Minase Ai
8. Motomi Kyousuke
9. Tsukuba Sakura
10. Ayano Saijou
11. Nakamura Yoshiki
12. Yamada Komomo
13. Ibuki Kaede <---Her Bishies, in Special Order, make me moist. Wow....I get a thrill every single time.
14. Ikeyamada Go <----I suspect she's by far the best mangaka I have ever read.
15. Aihara Miki ---> Yeah, she's my all time favorite mangaka as of August 25, 2009.
16. Aoki Kotomi: Just recently started reading her work and love it.
17. Hazuki Kanae--- Love her art work. She's my favorite manga artists, with great stories to her mangas.
18. Mitsuki Kako <--- Currently my favorite mangaka. As of October 30, 2009. She currently knocked out Aihara Miki (who I still adore).
Rush to Read List
1. Ai Girl (Love Girl)
2. Yacchimaina
3. Mayonaka no Jewel

Hahaha ah yeah cool
I've heard of Flushing, off that show "The Nanny" it's in the theme song lol
Someone said that Brooklyn isn't the "cool" spot anymore but Queens is?
Not entirely sure what that means lol, but have you heard that?
This is a stereo-typical question, but do people really sell crack on street corners just out in the open in New York

2 to 3 years that's a great amount of time you get to see all the seasons of a place at least 2 twice. Its definitely something I hope to do one day.
I started reading Akuma na Eros, I know its on your favourites. I was so tired last night I fell asleep through mid sentence, so I will have to re read the last chapter.
Good luck with getting settled and everything.

Moved to France that's awesome is it a family move or are you just doing an exchange type thing?
I did finish Tenshi Ja Nai and I quite liked it.. it didn't take as long as I thought or maybe I just marathon it a bit I can't remember now.. I always loose time when reading.Male Teacher/Female Student an endless pit of reading..lol

Mostly I only review ones I like or think i have something to say and its a bonus if no one has ever done a review before..
I have started reading Tenshi Ja Nai and on one manga it looks like it has 8 chapters, I thought easy I can read this quick. Then each one has 100 pages or so and I realised it was volumes, too late now it has me interested.

I have been stalking your manga list for a while now... I have so much I can read already. Maybe its the thrill of the chase, you see a series that looks good to read and then the next day you wonder why the day before it looked like the most interesting thing in the world. Even though our manga compatibility isn't in the red, wait come to think of it maybe it was at one time... I was going to say you have series that I also liked highly rated, even if I didn't rate them the same.
Proof reading this It really makes me seem lazy not to search out my own reads...

Ahh hello darling. I see you're reviewing again, good for you!

Hhahaah, I kinda guessed you were raised on em! Course when you pointed out how two of my favourite mangas were teacher student, with the female being older, I was a bit aghast for my own self, but you must be quick at recognising patterns by now!
Whoa what do you do with the french copies? Is it equally debacherous when you have read in french and have to put aside 30% of your brain to translate? HAHAHAHA I can't believe you complained to mumsy! What were you expecting exactly, I think MB's are pretty cunning in that they only visually describe and barely have messed up ukiyo e type pictures on the covers! They don't wanna take responsibility for creating unrealistic expectations in girls!
Hehehehe I wonder how cruel your mom must have been to not shatter your delusions about dashing knights in shining armors when you first left home! Perhaps she held out hope for youl, thinking maybe you'd come across the elusive breed SOMEhow and you'd get your happily thereafter...
Ahh, I'm still looking, let me know if you have any luck!~

Eeeehehehe, the more you say do not ask, the more baseless assumptions I make! It's cool to like a genre, though really, didn't harlequin romances contain enough older man younger femme scenarios. I like to see maybe some one or two unique factors even in those done to death relationships. But if you're looking for a cute older m/younger f story, try Kinkyori Renai, NO smut, but totally funny and excellent art.

Ahhh after how long have you written a review today! Oh... no wait, you wrote one yesterday as well... and they seem to be both teacherxstudent relationships...hmm!!!
Nice to see you get back into the groove! Lemme know of any new titles you read that you think deserve more attention. Oops, I just noticed your board has nothing but my posts... a bit creepy I think.

Kosupure Animaru<---- My life! Well, without the cosplay bit, but there's this bit in chapter 2 where the heroine's friend found a text with a picture of the boy in a cheeky obviously high schoolish pose, and she screamed "your boyfriend is in high school?"!!! Soo mortifying for me somehow! Or it would be...
