There will always be a void in my heart where Medaka Box Minus should be.
I started watching anime as a kid, namely Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!. I ended up watching Pokemon a pretty decent way into the series, and have always stuck with the Yu-Gi-Oh. These, and Studio Ghibli films were pretty much my only ventures into anime until very recently, though I was reading a little manga during this time. It was really when I made this profile that I started to watch a lot more anime, and I have been since.
If you've come from the vesti feel free to add me.

Yeah, me too. Or at least end the series properly if they don't plan on doing more.

I thought the series was getting more serious later on...it's good to hear that the parody increases. :D
Hopefully they animate the entire manga.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who actually enjoys Medaka Box for what it is...many people don't seem to get that it's meant to be an over-the-top parody.
I seriously need to start the manga soon. D:

It’s good. Every character has a role that gives meaning to the show and they’re portrayed nicely at a good pace. It’s rather episodic and through each story the viewer gets to learn more about the characters as well as the beautiful Neo Venezia (the setting). The whole show is really peaceful. There’s no melodrama to be found at all which is a plus. There’s no linear plot but the type of stories that are told are executed well and the result is well-pleasant, whether it’s about a character’s thoughts on a very simple and peaceful subject or the wonders of Neo Venezia, etc.
There is an issue with one of the characters’ development (Alice) and there’s a story mechanic that appears in two episodes that's… oddly approached. But the overall quality is still good.
Overall I enjoyed Aria the Animation for its beautiful setting, lovely music, well-portrayed characters, funny scenes, and some quite pleasant and relaxing stories. If you ever try it out tell me what you think of it!

I always finish what I start even if it means running over puppies and squirrels.

I'm weird and actually like rain, though! The soft pitter-patter plays a nice and relaxing symphony. I even like walking through it without a hood or an umbrella for a bit, haha.
Anyway, being from Oregon, I'm quite accustomed to frequent drizzles, trust me. :p
