I'm 23 years old. Still a beginner to anime trying to grow knowledge slowly. Watched Yu-Gi-Oh in high school, but didn't really start full force into anime until age 21 (2012). My favorite anime so far are Blood + and Death Note, haven't found ones to top those yet. My favorite anime genres are Romance, Drama/Suspense, Supernatural, Slice of Life, Mystery, and Psychological.
The first anime I watched was Yu Gi Oh. Seto Kaiba is my favorite character of that series. Yes, he could be an asshole most of the time, but his love towards his brother and passion for his work, brings his personality full circle. Plus he just make the story interesting.
When I watch anime I like for the story to bring me in right away, like to get hooked and watch the story heighten and get more intense. I watch for look those "Edge of your Seat/What the Hell" moments or the "Melt Your Heart" moments like in a romance. I like stories with good background info and details, one where the series of plot is constantly growing and strengthening, not staying the same.
Haven't really gotten into Manga yet, not use to the format of those books yet, but always researching new anime. I'm always adding new ones to my already long list of Anime to Check Out.
