I mean the current manga arc.

What are you spoiler-free thoughts on the current One Piece arc? I heard what it was about and I was a bit disappointed to hear about it lol.

2-3 season (10-12 eps each) would be amazing.

Funny one of my friends linked me this earlier today, freaking hilarious. Has to be inside joke or something. Riker is most like Kirk for sure, does whatever he wants.

Even funnier is how I've seen jokes asking "what happened to Riker's waistline between season 2 and 3?", wow this sums it up. I didn't think it'd be that dramatic with how much weight he put on throughout.

He's been fantastic.

No complaints so far. The amount of chapters per won't matter a fuck if every episode is enjoyable.

This site is going to come in handy. I'm happy this name wasn't already taken and I can't complain with the image chosen heh. Now it's just a matter of slowly filling in the rest. It will mostly be used for current stuff though since it's really impossible to know how much I've seen of the most shows.

I felt the same way about it. I remember being slightly confused about his character and how all the reincarnation worked when reading the manga initially. So that's already something they've fixed from the get go.

Cool collection of fighting game backgrounds.

lol, later in this episode Picard gets pissed and tells Data "Data can we please proceed WITHOUT the pipe" and his response was "Indubitably sir", so random lol.

I think Hisoka even mentioned it but I wanna say TNG or DS9 always came on before wrestling? I caught a lot of them back in the day that way and my grandpa was a big fan of the originals and TNG. We saw most of the TNG movies together but they're pretty awful to be honest lol, First Contact is cool though. I'd say even this ultra campy first season so far is way better than what I remember of the movies. I always forget there's like 10+ movies, 6-7 or something with the original crew and then almost that many for TNG.

That first episode of the original was weird as hell, haha. But just like TNG... I just gotta say these casts are just top notch. Especially after watching the first two original movies a few weeks back, I can see myself maybe getting into the original too. No matter how cheesy or weird it gets sometimes, these characters are awesome. I dabbed into DS9 a bit and it seems really promising too, but yeah it's just not up to par with the first two when it comes to characters/actors.

Riker without the beard is hilarious, I wonder when he grew it out. So far it's been kind of funny how Jordy and Worf are pretty much in the background, but I imagine they get a lot more development later. It almost feels like Riker is the main character. You'll certainly get a lot of LOL moments early on, some of Picard's lines are so unintentionally hilarious sometimes it's amazing. And Data was always one of my favorites.

Not sure if they ever get less episodic at points but I guess these are the kind of shows that are carried by the awesome characters that evolve the further you get. I've always been a huge TNG fan to a point but have never experienced it from start to finish like this, so yeah I just may go all the way... could take awhile for me though and half the reason is because I don't have access to my PC/anime now haha, but who knows.

I've heard the BD remasters had a ton of work put into them and damn, whatever this HD version of TNG is on amazon's streaming already looks incredible enough. Lots of love put into the remastering for these shows it seems.

That reminds me of Sting being in a random episode of Walker Texas Ranger that I randomly saw a few weeks back. lol

HisokaHajime | 04-25-13, 9:38 PM
It's from an episode of Pacific Blue that he was on. I know because I watched it lol.

Holy shit, a Monster series on HBO is a dream. I've always said that it was one manga/anime storyline that people of all ages could enjoy especially with great acting which I'm sure this would have. It could be some of the greatest TV ever.

Food Fighters are timeless. Good to see them getting some love.
