Cowboy Bebop - before you decide to watch this anime get ready to go on a serious feels trip. It may seem harmless, but it's a lot more than just a comedy - based anime. This genius work of art, coming from Shinichirō Watanabe (you may know him from directing Samurai Champloo, Zankyou no Terror or Sakamichi no Apollon, he produced all of those aswell), will take you to the realms like you've never experienced before.
Eventho the anime started airing throughout 1998, and finished in about April 1999, it had pretty decent animation I've to say. But I'd still rate it a 6, just because
...
most of the scenes are portrayed as moving pictures, and don't any actual animation in them. But I guess that's reasonable because it was 1998 and all that shit.
Neverthless, this anime posses one thing that I rarely see in the anime made throughtout this millenium - the actual goddamn story. The story itself isn't a fascinating one I'd say, but I've enjoyed watching the fillers that cover the background story of every single character itself. The reasons why they were scarred, the reasons why they did the stuff they did, and so on. I found it so much more amusing watching the anime that was made at the end of the previous millenium that these they make nowadays tho. The animation may be poor, but you can see the actual story somewhere.
So, without further a do, as you can read in the synopsis, the whole story revolves around Spike and Jet, two bounty hunters who chase intergalactic criminals and do badass stuff all the way down to it. The anime was quite well paced I'd say, not too fast, and not too slow I guess. And yeah, the ending was perfect I'd say, just to my liking. Of course I won't spoil the ending, just saying it tho.
Oh, and so my favourite part - the OST's of this anime are really, really amazing. That opening song was easily the best one I've ever heard. Every single time I watched the opening, which I really rarely do, I mostly skip them all. The music matches the scenes so well, you just can't hate it. I mean, who doesn't love a chilly OST or an opening song? Well, that's about it, the only real thing I can complain about here is the animation, so I rated it a 6, but the whole anime overall - I rate it a pure 10.

I know there are probably like a million reviews of this particular anime out there already, but I watched this a few months back and I just felt the need now to share my opinion about it.
At first I was really repellent to watch this anime. I was denying and avoiding it, but after a friend's consent, I finally sat and took some time watching it.
On the beginning of the first episode I was feeling like "wtf am I watching", and I was really close to stop watching it. But after a few episodes, when the story picked up(note: I still hadn't had any
...
near - ideas what was going on in the anime) I took a liking to it. Edward and Alphonse were quite amusing to watch. The anime goes from the realm of comedy to a whole another. So, if you think that it's not worth watching for the first few episodes, give it a chance, it gets better.
Eventho it was released in 2009, the animation was quite good actually. The characters, the fights and everything along was pretty well animated, and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it.
Now, the thing that really made me think this anime was actually one of the best there is out there, is the actual story. I've watched about a 100 anime, and I've never seen a story this good. Once you get in a bit deeper, around the 15th episode, you just get hooked and can't get out of it. Until I reached about the 15th episode, I was literally making myself watch it. After that, it all went so smooth, I couldn't stop it. I finished the rest of the series(about 50 episodes) in about three days. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the characters' background is just amazing. It really is up to the individual to decide which of the characters has the best background, but as I've seen it, all of them are pretty wicked.
They've coordinated the soundtracks with the scenes so good aswell, I literally can't point out a single thing about this anime, except that it's a bit slow maybe. But seriously, watching it gave me the experience that just a few other animes gave me, and by that, cheers to FMAB!

Before I even start this review all I want to say is that this is just my opinion on this movie, and for the people that didn't like it, just don't judge my opinion.
First of all, this was one of those romantic animes that made me say "wow" at the end of it. I was lying in my bed last night for like an hour after watching it and I just thought about it, and I couldn't stop, so I decided to write a review to ease my mind. I watch a lot of romance animes, and I really find them enjoyable, and I can
...
say that this was one of my favourites so far. The concept of the story is so well fit, and the happy - sad emotions are equally exspressed here.
The story centers around a guy, Tohno, and his xhildhood friend Akari. They encountered a great impact on their friendship when Akari had to move out of Tokyo because of her parents' job. And so on develops the plot. The story itself covers three periods of time; the one when they were children, the one when they were teenagers, and the on when they're all grown - up adults. Throughout the that was made so well, I had a feeling I was feeling the same thing as Tohno did at the moment. All the pain he was bearing, I beared it with him. All the loneliness and emptiness he was feeling, I felt it aswell. I think that's the point of romantic animes, to feel the characters and what they're going through.
The second thing of all is the story itself. I thought it wasn't very original, but it was very enjoyable and really satisfying. The relationship between the two of them was really pointed out. They both felt something, but kept quiet for a long time.
This anime showed how life itself can be sometimes - full of ups and downs, highs and lows, happiness' and dissapointments, and most of all - how love really works out sometimes. I'd sum the story with this sentence, because saying anything else would practically be spoiling.
The art itself was pretty much good. The movies goes back as far as 2007, so for the time being it was really well animated. The effects and the camera angles in some scenes are really well put together, so that it could maximize the expirience itself. The only flaw about the art was that their faces couldn't be clearly seen in some scenes, but it didn't really affect anything at all. Also I liked how the Iwafune station and the main setting for "Cosmonaut" are based off the places that really exist(it doesn't maybe matter to some, but I really pay attention to details and that one really got me there).
The sound is just perfect. The soundtrack adds something that every romantic anime should have, that exact feeling of the situation, and it really suits it. As a fan of piano music(which covers most part of the OST's) I really enjoyed it. The ending scene song pretty much sums up the whole anime in just 3 minutes, and that really moved me to tears almost. It was awesome.
There's not much to be said about the characters. There're two lead(Akari and Tohno) and two supporting(Kanae Sumida and her sister). In my opinion, what made the characters so special was that they both found and instant connection, and that everything can happen spontaneously. He filled the disadvantage of Akari with the advantages of Tohno, and Tohno's disadvantages with Akari's advantages. He just fit them together really well.
I'd give this anime an overall of a pure 10. I haven't quite watched an anime lately that made me think so much about the things I've done and the decisions I've made like this one did. If you fancy romance animes, I highly reccomend watching this one. Enjoy!

Since the last review I wrote was a little overwhelmed by my fan-boying crap, well it was the first one I ever wrote tho, and I decided to be a little more objective about writing a review about One Piece. I, myself, really adore this one, but people mostly underrate it because it has many episodes, or is a little bit old. Anyways, let's begin.
Story - 8/10 - The story is focused about Luffy, a 17-year-old boy who lived in the era known as "The Great Age of Pirates", which was encouraged by the great Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Altho the anime is really
...
old(began airing in 1999), the story is very well writen, by my opinion. It currently has 683 episodes and is still ongoing and like every anime that has a lot of episodes, it does have quite much fillers indeed, and they can be really annoying I admit that. It also has somekind of a unique story, and that pirate theme is really awesome in some ways. You don't see much animes that have the pirate-theme in them. As I was saying, the story is really unique. Now, that were mostly pros of One Piece, but it has a few cons aswell. Like, the plots aren't such good ones, they're mostly predictable. This wasn't a spoiler, it was just a fact. Altho i watched every single arc from the beggining till the end, some of them aren't really needed there, they're fillers put in that way.
Art - 6/10 - I rate the animation of this anime on a 6. I've taken into account that this anime dates from 1999, but even now the animation isn't such high-quality. Even if it is available in 1080p HD, it isn't very admirable, so I rated it a 6.
Sound - 7/10 - Aswell as the animation, the sound in some point in the anime is really bad, and at some points it's really good. If we take OST's and openings into the account for sound, I say that they add quite a bit to the total experience of One Piece.
Characters - 8/10 - I think that the characters were really made up well, and that he added just what it was needed to make them compatible with eachother by making them all share the same horrific past. Some people may think it's a little bit of exaggerating, and I think so too, it isn't very realistic for them all to have traumas from their childhood, or to bear scars, but that's what he did so the characters could've bonded through the anime by experiencing "hell and heaven" with eachother. I approve of this in my own way.
Enjoyment - 8/10 - I give it a total enjoyment of 8. It is a little bit different from a regular Shounen anime, but what made me give it a 9 is just because I enjoyed watching every second of it so, so, so much, even if it were fillers. It had a lot of emotional scenes aswell that I still like rewatching from time to time. If I was more objective about this, and if I considered other people opinions about this, I would've said it's a 6 or a 5. But I simply don't think that way, and I may have fan-boyed it a bit on the end, but hey, I really liked this anime tho.
Overall - 7/10 - I'd give it a total of a 7. It's a very objective view about it, if it was myself I'd give it a 10, but honestly, it doesn't deserve it. If you look through the grades I've been giving all over, it has to be a 7 overall. If you're gonna watch this anime you should be prepared for the bad animations for about 300 first episodes, then it sharpens up a bit i think, and gets at about 720p, but it all comes down the the personal opinions of people, if you like this type of anime I don't think you'll mind the animation much. Also, I forgot to mention, it has quite a few movies(12 or 13, can't remember straight now) and a couple of specials.
I think I've written a better review than my last one, and thanks if you read it to the end.

This anime is an absolute masterpiece. Everything from the character art and the story, to the plot and the sound, everything in this anime is absolutely magnificent. At first, I avoided watching it because the name didn't seem really interesting to me. Boy, was I wrong, and after a while I decided to watch it.
Story - 10/10 - Let me tell you about the story. Don't worry, I won't spoil anything, or won't name any of the characters(well I maybe will at some point but not constantly). This story got me like:"Man, is this even real?". I think it's the first anime since the Death
...
Note I couldn't have predicted till the end. I mean the plot is just really twisted, and there's no way you can know what'll happen if you don't watch the next one. People who wrote the manga, and the ones who animated it really put all the effort they could into it. The main character has a goal which he determined himself, and I won't reveal it because I said I won't spoil, and the rest just follow aswell. As you can see from the name "Akame ga Kill!", there obviously is a girl named Akame there, and yeah, she's freaking awesome.
Art - 9/10 - The only flaw about this anime I could've notice was the animations at some point, and I'll rate it a 9. The animations are mostly really convincing and realistic, but they lacked a little bit of something to me. Neverthless, some of the parts where the animation isn't really good is was filled in with a really epic story, as I mentioned earlier.
Sound - 9/10 - Yeaah, I'll rate this a 9 aswell. I mean it really added what the story was lacking in my head, and the sound really fits with the anime, and the OST's aren't bad aswell, I'd say.
Characters - 10/10 - As I said, I won't mention any of the characters and I'll stay by that. I'll just say you'll really get emotional about them all.
Enjoyment - 10/10 - As I said earlier, I really didn't wanna watch this anime at first, but when a friend of mine finally made me do it, I was really judging myself for not doing it earlier. I mean, don't let the name fool you, I've proven to myself so many times that the name doesn't mean a shit about an anime, when it can have a total shitty name and still be awesome, or have a totally awesome one and be really shitty, there's no rules. Anyways, I guarantee you won't regret watching this anime if you like Action - Adventorous anime with a slight dose of Horror in it.
Sorry for the long review, I hope it helps :)
