Well, that sounds like a performance issue to me. Did you try redownloading the episode just in case?
Also, this is the first time you've had problems with a HD release, right? What codecs do you use?
While your computer isn't particularly old, when I've watched anime on an older computer, setting the process to a higher priority has helped.

I'm starting to hate Photobucket.
The other day it was resizing my pictures by a few pixels, which normally isn't a problem, but as I was playing with signatures, it resulted in some epic failure.
Then, just now, it kept screwing up the animation, switching frames ten times per second. As soon as I switched hosting, it was fine. >.>
