Hello everyone how are you doing? Not that I expect an answer or anything. On here I am called Tasan but I am also known as Kyrt or Baccano so you can take your pick.

Like most of the people on MAL I tend to enjoy anime along with manga, visual novels, video games, reading, and music.

My preference in anime ranges by the genres and to be honest I can grow to like nearly anything. I will not outright dismiss a title unless I really abhore it. I usually give each series 3 episodes to sway my opinion one way or another.

In regards to subs vs. dubs it really depends. I think there is quality of both dubbed and subbed anime and think either has potential to be great. I may occasionally review an anime but generally I stick to only reviewing visual novels.

If you can't tell I am a visual novel enthusiast. The first visual novel I ever played was Ever 17 that I found in a Bookmans. Ever since then I've been a huge fan. I love the stories and the characters. The majority of visual novels tend to be h-games but there are a numerous amount of non-h visual novels that are amazing. Clannad and umineko no naku koro ni being prime examples. If anyone is ever interested in visual novels drop me a message.

Besides anime, manga, and visual novels I am also an avid reader and am a particular fan of classics, fantasy, and science-fiction.

MY RATING SYSTEM:

Anime:
* Anime is judged on a score of 5-10.
* 5 is the lowest while 10 is the highest.
* I have yet to give a 10 to even my favorite shows.

Hentai
* Hentai is judged on a score of 1-5
* A 5 means I think it is good to recommend to people (Kite, Mezzo Forte, Dragon Knight OVA).
* A 3 means that a hentai is watchable if you like hentai.
* A 2 means that a show has tentacles or weird fetishes

Currently watching: Most of the winter anime season

Currently Reading on a regular basis: Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, Mahou Sensei Negima, Denpa Kyoushi.

Sorry about the 6-months-late reply. Haven't checked mal for so long I forgot which comments I've replied to already and which ones I haven't.

As you have probably figured out by now, how easily you can play a raw VN with agth almost completely depends on how well you can tolerate the machine translation. I have taken half a year of Japanese plus the Kanji reading ability from being Chinese, so playing a raw Japanese game isn't terribly difficult IF I have high expectations from the game. Most games aren't worth the effort (koihime for example). YMMV.

I have high expectations for most Key games. I heard kudo wafter wasn't really good though, plus lately I've been so busy I haven't really taken a look at what's available or new translations in the VN scene.

well, it's not that amagami is bad, it isnt great at the same time, it's just an average series which shows you strange fetish such as the one in episode 3 XD
sae's arc is unbearable because of her voice >.>
tropical kiss is nothing special, you can easily avoid it, i'm reading it for improving my japanese, though it's quite enjoyable if you are not looking for serious plot. i don't think it will ever be translated

the option are 2, u have to choice whether u want to spoil the first tea party and talk about the metaphysic world ( at least this one, u can say the witch will show the story from the magical point of view and the player has to solve the mistery with only some hint given by the witch... dont talk about red text, blue text or such things, u have to be generic while spoiling this thing ) or just writing the initial plot without talking about magical stuff, but i really dont know which could be the best way to write a review.

mmm good soundtrack? umineko and kira kira, umineko has the best bgm i've ever listen to in a novel, kira kira has great song ( both the main series and curtain call, actually i prefer curtain call's songs )

mmm an umineko's review, imo u should spoil the tea party of the first episode, cuz the real story starts there, if u want u can try doing a review only saying the initial plot and some generic phrases such as " u will have to solve the mistery with the help of phrases, formulize your theory and check if it's right" without spoiling things like red text and other things... what the fuck did i write lol
occult academy? i think the story got lolwut already after episode 3, im still following it cuz i usually dont like dropping series ( and i have nothing to do lol ) and i want to see where the story will go...

i understand why you disagree with my ideal aeka's ending, but imo it would have been the most realistic, i mean, if you beated a bully up like that you can't remain untouched, you would end being killed by one of her friends, dont u think so?
at least the bully's family would denounce you for omicide attempt...
the ending was cool and the message as you said was deep, but it was a bit unrealistic contrary to the rest of the arc.
btw i finished hiroko's route, quite good, i like her character.

umineko 6 was one of the episode i appreciated the less, it was still awesome though.
i was also thinking of replaying tsukihime, but i have too much novel/anime to read/watch, i have no time at the moment.

Hisui > Akiha > Arcueid > Ciel = Kohaku
Hisui's true ending left me speechless ;-;
I actually don't like Ciel, it's the heroine i like the less by far, imo it's the less interesting and misterious among the heroines, her final was cool though
i started school on 20 september, still some days for starting doing my homework lol

ok i finished mizuki's route and aeka's route
mizuki's route was bad, some parts were heavely nonsense and the story didnt catch my attention till the end.
aeka's route was awesome, i really like the themes treated,good chara development and a lots of exciting scenes...though i'm a bit disappointed for the good end.
well, it's good, but i dont think things would go that way after you almost killed a bully, even if you blackmailed him after the fact.
i think a omicide/suicide was the better opinion, maybe omicide/run away but they must have killed at least kyoka
while he was strangling her i was thinking "yea and now omicide/suicide ending" but i didnt receive what i wanted :(
