I'm guessing if a sword is normally forged, those tedious steps are undertaken i.e. they actually have to polish that part before going on to the next step?
She did say she just became a knight one month ago and has never fought before, so to put it bluntly, she's a f---in' NOOB hehe. Like level 1.
I'm determinedly trying to ignore how her mune plate is crafted to have um, mune shapes.

yea, after rewatching tt scene, it's like in RPGs when the characters show their resolve and say it loud or some shit.

I think you completely took it the wrong way then, if u're scoffing that that scene isn't moving you.
It's more like the usual, she's declaring her honor and pride of being a knight and carrying on the family tradition, hence Luke should forge her a blade to be able to carry out this. Doubt it's to evoke emotions from you.
Walao if you think those phrases were lame you relly nid to watch more fantasy anime :P thou i think the mystical effect could be better if the terms were understandable.
I know, about the monster, but the scene was to focus on Luke forging. These kind of show is not asking you to go think too deeply and say WHY MONSTER NOT ATTACKING? haha
I think it was oogling at Cecily's boobs anyway.
Basically, dun think THAT much when watching Medieval-ish Fantasy.
