Its fanart from a more recent series called Puella Magi Madoka Magica, its one of my favorites. It gets pretty dark, but its a terrific series overal.

And for private messaging it works like this, took me a sec to remember how, lol:

Profile -> Messages -> Send Message -> type in the person's username that you want to send the message to -> your message

Although this works fine too.
