Wow, I can't believe I forgot Cowboy Bebop. I think I forgot to put down Trigun too... actually there are a lot of them that I didn't put down just because I haven't seen them in so long that I've forgotten a lot about them. I kind of forced myself to get out of anime all through high school because no one but me liked it when I was in high school. Then when I got to college everyone was cool with it...so I've just recently gained my obsession back.
Maybe that's why I thought it was confusing. Is the first episode of Haruhi supposed to start out with her dressed in a bunny suit fighting a wizard?
*lol* Okay, okay...I'll watch Kannon next. I made a dinosaur t-shirt that says 'gau' after I watched Air. Everyone at work thought I was being really cute and original...oh the perks of those who don't know I steal it from anime. ^.^
Ehh, okay so I'm *really* picky when giving out 10s. It has to be one of the best films I've ever seen...something that moves me to a level where I'll obsess over it and think about it every waking moment for at least a week. If you haven't had a chance to see the movie Paprika you should watch it...it's incredible. I made us get it when I worked at the art theater in SA and everyone really liked it.

The music, animation and storyline are all an A+ in my book.
Other than that I'd say check out Kuroshitsuji... which is in my opinion the best anime of 2008. They're about to make a second season to it...but I have no idea how they're going to pull that off. (The ending kind of seemed set in stone, and the manga doesn't shed any light on how they could follow it up either.)

It's the first one I've bought in a really long time. I had to order it off the internet and then wait for what seemed like years for it to come in. I'd let you borrow it but my last day at work is Tuesday. ;_;

It's a really dark creepy twist on Alice in Wonderland...but not in the cliche way that you always think Alice and Wonderland spin-offs are going to be. Just when you think you've got all the characters figured out it really kicks you in the ass and makes you think again. I just got caught up on the manga (which the anime is following it pretty closely...but the manga is a lot more gorey) and I was seriously sitting in front of my computer going 'WTF?!? No way!' hah.
Probably the worst of 2009 would be Needless...okay, well maybe I'm being unfair. I only watched the first 10 mins or so and I couldn't take it anymore so I turned it off and never turned it back on again.
