Thank you for your opinion on Nana, that's the kind of stuff i needed to hear =p

About your rating style i totally understand people dropping shows. I'm watching till the end 99% of the time, but i do hear you when you say "why would i waste my time anymore if it's obviously not my thing". Tolerance is really about your mood, that's hard to explain but i'm watching stuff i would have thrown away after the first episode 2 years ago (Lucky star for example).

About "popular acclaim", that's not exactly what i meant. I think my rating system as a way to make the list reading a bit easier, so people have a clearer view on what i really do like and dislike.

Now about your PTW list, i had a careful look on it, and i have two animes in mind for you:
- Juubee Ninpuuchou, you got to watch this dude, ASAP
- Hajime no Ippo, classic, 75 episodes, but worth the watch

Come back when you watched Juubee Ninpuuchou and tell me how it went ;)

The whole story actually revolves around an organization. I'm not going to tell anything more than that because it will ruin your experience.
Season 1 is quite confusing.
The second season will explain everything.

Yo! Saw your thread a lil while ago, and I just wanted to give me two cents.
Anyway, get your girlfriend to try Nodame Cantabile and Paradise Kiss. They're both high quality, so I'm sure she'll dig both of them.

Also, next time you want a recommendation, ask me. Most of the users on this website are twerps who don't know what they're talking about ^_-
