I personally had an emotional ride with this show. Angel Beats in the end was basically a sad romance show. When I first watched the first 2-3 episodes, I thought this was going to be an action based story but it really isn't. After a story of one of the character's old life, the action seems to lessen and the more you feel sorry for these characters. If you dont cry in any of the episodes don't think your heartless yet because in the last episode it is garanteed you will cry. I myself didnt cry untill the final minutes of the last episode. I love this series overall and I am planning to read the manga series. Rewatching this isn't really a must-do because the second time is never the same as the first time you have watched it. In conclusion I say this is a must see/read for those who love drama/romance type anime/manga series like myself. ^v^ read more
