Hey there! Sorry for the late reply, I've been quite busy these last weeks (work, family...). :/

Oh god, that much? xD Well, I can understand if you're so much not used to genders for nouns that it really sounds weird for you, though I'd be surprised if people you meet on the Internet would appreciate to be considered as bots. :P But I don't think that genders can have such an influence on the other parts of a sentence in English; or I mean, it's truly nothing compared with French where it can be a real ordeal sometimes... x.x

Krayzel | 04-01-12, 6:34 AM
Haha really, do you think giving a gender to every noun makes the language even more difficult? :P Well, I must admit some weird rules of conjugation exist because of this, but I'm so used to it that I sometimes feel a bit confused and not far from the mistake of using "he" or "she" for an object when I speak English whereas I shouldn't. xD I don't know why we don't have this notion of "neutral" in French, but I like it that way; a gender also helps to identify more easily what you're talking about in a conversation. :o)

Welcome to MAL

Nice! So you'll have known a perfect schooling if you graduate college when you're 22, eh? :P That's a good age to finish with such a level of studies. ^^

Haha that's also what I heard from my girlfriend, but I clearly disagree when you say English is a difficult language. :o I mean, your conjugation is extremely simple compared with the French one and a ton of words can be built in your mind easily when you know the logic... Even if there are exceptions, it can't be as horrible as French. xD I don't know how it is there but in France, it scares me to see how many people can't write or talk properly their own language, especially with the new generations...

Oh, the well-known Pennsylvania! Actually, I say that but many cities from the USA are known... xD

Krayzel | 03-17-12, 7:30 PM
Well sure, you still have enough time to choose in which way you want to be specialized. :) How long your studies are going to last?

She is, as I try to make her learn a few words or sentences about French; though we don't start with the same level (and French is flippin' more difficult than English, at least to me) so we'll probably need some time before we can try to converse in French. xD And thanks again! I just tend to check my sentences a bit too easily to be sure it makes sense whereas I do know inside of me that''s correct... A kind of lack of confidence in my English, I guess.

As I said, I don't mind learning new things! But you've spoken rather normally until now, you're not confusing at all. :o) Where are you from, actually?

Krayzel | 03-16-12, 5:12 PM
Well, I don't really know; it makes sense to find people on the Internet who are interested by artistic stuff with all those blogs or websites which allow you to post music, videos or other things... But at least on MAL, I met several people who study or plan to study Computer Science. :o

Hm sorry, I should have been clearer for my question; actually, I wanted to know if you're more interested in studying how to develop applications/websites or how to build/manage computer networks, knowing we can more or less divide the computer science in these two parts. :P But I imagine you didn't study that much until now, you're right; though maybe you practice or take information outside of school, I don't know. :o

No problem, it's always good to learn new words or expressions! Thanks for the compliment. :) I don't know where you live but you probably know that French people have the reputation to not be at ease with foreign languages... xD For my part, I love my mother tongue but I've always been attracted by English; and now I'm dating a Canadian girl (from the English speaking side), it allows me to practice and progress every day. :D

Krayzel | 03-16-12, 3:10 PM
That's why we shouldn't underestimate all these holidays we don't have anymore when we get into the working life!

Omgsh, really? I've not talked to so many people on this website but I always end up finding Computer Science students... xD In fact, I also studied in the same domain; the software programming, more precisely. What about you? Are you focused on a specific learning or do you follow general courses?
Hm, I can't lay my finger on a proper translation for "paper due"... But I think I got the idea. Though you're not lucky if it's for Sunday. :/

Haha no worries, I don't mind speaking English anyway; actually, I don't think I'd be here if it was the case. :o)

Krayzel | 03-16-12, 2:45 PM
Sure but a weekend always goes by fast, unfortunately... :/ What are you doing in life? :o)

Well, I think you will find a lot of people to talk with. :P For my part, I rarely post on the forums now... I just say hello to some new users and keep talking to them if there's a good vibe between us or if they are French. xD

Krayzel | 03-16-12, 12:34 PM
Haha but you know what we say, there's a beginning to everything! :P I hope you're gonna have enough free time to work on your list; that's something which begins to lack for me. xD

You're welcome! :) And sure, a lot of users are really friendly on this website; but eh, we're all gathered around the same hobby, after all. :o) Though you can find many types of people here!

Hey there, nice compatibility here. Welcome to MAL!

Cau-ca-sian | 03-14-12, 10:30 PM
I guess I can't really argue. To each their own, yes.

Let's take for instance another thing arbitrarily like FLCL, Dead Leaves, an anime movie. Midless action: Check. Mindless humor: Check. Mindless and annoying characters: Check. Not-at-all use of psychology even when it's one of it's genre: Check. Completely fucked up direction and execution: Check. Hell, they were the aspects I was thinking of when I completed both the things. Sure, FLCL's sound and animation were quite unique and over-the-top, still they couldn't bring the overall score up, whatsoever.

We are looking for more people to join the Union that are wanting to start a blog, just started one or is already an experienced blogger! We want to create a place for resources, a place to meet other bloggers and general conversation! :c)

Cau-ca-sian | 03-14-12, 9:14 PM
8.5, if you round it up, comes down to 8 and 8.6, likewise, comes up to 9. Looks like you were more onto 8.6 than 8.5. Beh, if you ask me, I like my anime to intellectually challanging, not annoying. FLCL was annoying. I, myself, know how much patience it took for me to complete it, considering the impatient dude that I am. How did you come up with 8.6 by the way? Solely based on enjoyment or were other aspects also invlved through which the overall score was yielded?

Cau-ca-sian | 03-14-12, 9:09 AM
A 9/10 to FLCL? You certainly are a crazy one.
